  1. Thanks for the laugh! That was pure greatness!!!
  2. And this just in.... performance enhancing drugs have been ruled out I can't wait until off season... can't get here soon enough.
  3. I'm having the same problem. Very frustrating.
  4. Thanks OldTimer. I was approved a long time ago by Harry. Something happened at some point and now I don't have access. I guess I'll pay the $50K as Deep suggested... maybe that will get me back on... or maybe I'll just PM Harry.
  5. Where do I find the recruiting board?
  6. Thanks Smitty! Awesome is all I can say!
  7. I am so tempted to add this to my desktop, but I don't think my wife would probably approve
  8. Here's hoping that it won't take another 19 years to make it back! I had forgotten what it felt like to make the tournament. What an awesome year, and game against a very good Memphis team. Looking forward now to seeing what we'll have next year!
  9. This team is Awesome!!! How 'bout that Calvin Watson tonight? That guy was on fire! It's been a long 19 years since we were celebrating in the Super Pit with Morgan, Worrell, and company. We can finally raise a new flag in the Pit. Go Mean Green!!!!!!
  10. I wondered if anyone else caught that too. Great things are happening at North Texas!
  11. My brother saw this kid play in high school and said he was all over the field. This would be great if it happens!
  12. To Coach Dickey and his family, our prayers are with you.
  13. I was at that game as a John Tyler grad and my wife as a Plano East grad. That was the most amazing game I've ever witnessed in my life and can't imagine anything ever beating it. Although a Mean Green comeback today would have to come close.
  14. Ed, Just curious if this might be the same Nathan married to Tiffany Dagley. My wife was friends with her in Lewisville back in the mid to late 90's.
  15. Yeah, I was wondering the same thing so I went to their athletic website and couldn't find anything. Anyone else out there know anything on this??? Looks like KNTU via the internet for me.
  16. I was shocked a long time Aggie friend of mine even bought a NT shirt period, just for the game.
  17. Flying in from Nashville and meeting up with my Aggie brother, who by the way, is on board with the Mean Green, and he'll be bringing along an LSU friend who wants to see our dynamic duo.
  18. I was thinking the exact same thing. Why couldn't they do this? I can't think of any reason why.
  19. While we're making corrections to what EulessEagle posted, we also lost to S. Florida a couple of times, unfortunately.
  20. Great pictures!!! Thanks for sharing.
  21. NORTH TEXAS' THOMAS NAMED TO WALTER CAMP WATCH LIST Courtesy: Sun Belt Conference Release: 08/17/2005 Courtesy: Sun Belt Conference NEW HAVEN, Conn. – North Texas sophomore running back Jamario Thomas has been named to the “Players to Watch” list for the Walter Camp Player of the Year award, it was announced on Wednesday. Thomas, the 2004 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, joins a who’s who list in college football for one of the most prestigious awards in college football. The watch list will be narrowed to 10 semi-finalists in early November. The 2005 Walter Camp Player of the Year recipient, which is voted on by the 119 Division I-A head coaches and sports information directors, will be announced on the ESPN/Home Depot College Football Awards Show in December. The winner will then receive his trophy at the Foundation’s annual national awards banquet on Feb. 11, 2006 at the Yale University Commons in New Haven. In his breakout freshman campaign, Thomas led the nation in rushing average (nearly 190 yards per game) and set a school and conference record with 1,801 yards rushing. He had five 200-yard rushing games, setting an NCAA freshman record. Last year’s recipient was USC quarterback Matt Leinart who led the Trojans to their second consecutive national title. Leinart has returned for his senior year and is once again on the Walter Camp “Watch List.” Walter Camp, “The Father of American football,” first selected an All-America team in 1889. Camp – a former Yale University athlete and football coach – is also credited with developing play from scrimmage, set plays, the numerical assessment of goals and tries and the restriction of play to eleven men per side. The Walter Camp Football Foundation – a New Haven-based all-volunteer group – was founded in 1967 to perpetuate the ideals of Camp and to continue the tradition of selecting annually an All-America team.
