  1. Why are we playing off of Fiedler? It allows him to see the court and make the pass of his choice? Why aren’t we pressuring the ball when it’s in his hands?
  2. I don’t think he’s bad. He’s lacking confidence on his shot. He drives when that doesn’t appear to be in his game right now.
  3. We seem to be able to get good shot opportunities, but pass on them for the hopes of a better shot (or to kill some clock?). The better shot doesn’t end up happening and we struggle to get a decent shot off. It’s been frustrating.
  4. If we could consistently hit the 3 footers and/or layups, we’d be unstoppable. UNSTOPPABLE!
  5. Not a lot of the offers that I’ve seen are for 2023. I’ve seen a lot of 2024 and some 2025. I may be missing the 2023 from my Twitter feed.
  6. I’m not concerned. The coaches will go through Spring and see what issues/positions need to be addressed. To my untrained eye, the secondary seems like it might require the most attention. I only say it because of 3-3-5. We’ll see. I’m excited.
  7. I didn’t see him going there as the OC. I think it’d more as an Analyst, or something similar. Just a guess, though.
  8. It was nice seeing Kai and Rubin drive, then kick-out to Perry. Also liked seeing us changing up the pace from time to time. We didn’t play our best, but came out with the W.
  9. We brought in Moore and we’re running the 3 man front. It’d be nice to keep the rotation we started during the season. Those fresh bodies really helped our squad.
  10. Right. I see your side, I just don’t agree with it. Like another poster stated, he may come back. We’ll see. Just hoping that if he leaves, we find some talent to take his place. Since he also seemed like a vocal leader, his departure opens up another opportunity for someone else to step it up in the locker room. This off season has definitely not been dull so far.
  11. I think I see your point, but I disagree. I want the best for each player that comes through here. Now, I’m not hoping for career highs should we play against them, but I definitely want them to succeed.
  12. Other players are telling him “to get paid,” so I’m assuming he’s chasing a payday, or has one in hand. I wish him well. He played great for us and seemed like a good teammate. I’m rooting for him. Hoping our DC has a plan in place.
  13. What chance are the coaches taking? Isn’t he a walk on? He’s paying his own way to try out for the team, right? I’m not really understanding the nit picking?
  14. The AP article mentions UNT. https://apnews.com/article/sports-texas-new-orleans-dominican-republic-c1a25bf5cdac1aa2c2d173a087d81423
  15. Give credit to FAU’s defense. They helped on defense, doubled, hustled, and had us frazzled.
  16. How fun is the CUSA Tourney going to be in Frisco. Looking forward to it!
  17. Agree! I think he got a 3rd foul and was pulled in the 2nd half. He’s earning more playing time IMHO. Martinez also has a nice midrange game. He hasn’t really found his stroke from 3’s yet.
  18. That’s what I’m feeling, too. The QB’s we brought in from the past were usually backups at their previous stop. Rogers started the entire season. Earle may have been a starter at ACU? Either way, I’m hopeful for a true QB competition in the Spring. Looking forward to the Spring Game!
  19. Hard fought game with two of the best teams in CUSA. FAU found another gear defensively and it hurt us. They really swarmed and it caused some turnovers. We had our chances late. It was a battle. We’ll see them again in Frisco. These close games will make this team better. It’s sucks right now, but they’ll bounce back.
