Wren is a very smart guy, it is actually a gift from God having a quality AD and Head football coach who work so well together. I do not miss the used car salesman garbage rant etc. from RV and Dan Mccarney.

Millennials just don’t have the extra money laying around to hop on a plane last minute to go someplace. It’s either their rent money or go to the bowl game. In addition, this is during the holidays where you have to also buy gifts. I think that’s why a lot of people wanted the bowl game locally to save money. I just didn’t think our fan base was hurting that bad financially.

People in general, especially the younger generations watch tv, streams etc more than traveling or actually going to events. Don’t have the money to spend I guess.

Ya that’s part of the expense of traveling, nothing new.

Not disagreeing on that, just saying the whole having a high attendance thing doesn’t seem to be a factor in determining teams to play there.

The first responders bowl has two teams from the Northeast? I really didn’t think attendance had any factor in determining who plays there.

Yes I’ll put it this way To coach in the Big 12 and have an opportunity to beat some the of high paid coaches like Tom Herman, Lincoln Riley ect. can add value to his stock. I wish we had a stronger conference but unfortunately we don’t.
