  1. Everyone on the forum would be disappointed that you almost fell asleep while our glorious Mean Green were playing. Man....
  2. After seeing UTSA beat SMU, I will chalk that one up to our injured players having some rust to dust off. This game was a good testament to that. Both Rubin and CJ played some damn good ball. I will include myself in this, but we have to get our numbers up!! 2 pages for a game thread is low!!
  3. I agree. I have no excuses for that loss. Based on the last 2 games, maybe it shows it was injury rust getting knocked off.
  4. I was actually admiring that jacket, I really like it. Where did you get it?
  5. I see mega fan @bstnsportsfan3!! Even if he isn't looking very interested in the game.... haha 😉
  6. Yeah, this one worries me. They might have had it circled on the calendar since last time when their coach punched the wall.
  7. I don't disagree. The offense is really the biggest problem. If we had another JE, we would be ranked IMO.
  8. This was exactly how I felt. I still don't feel confident going into the tourney. If this team beats FAU, that's the kind of win that would carry some strong momentum into the tournament.
  9. Yeah, I agree, but we still have a few more days before the next one, so have to dissect this one otherwise @TheTastyGreek might want to give us an update on Temple Oranges!
  10. I agree. I feel like it is just up to the ref on whether they call these. There have been many, many times we are literally straight up and still get the foul call. I am not a ref, but I would love for someone to explain that to me.
  11. Thanks for putting this back into perspective. I will go back to complaining about our recent loss to UTSA that should have never happened.....while eating a Temple orange!
  12. I don't think Vegas knows what the hell we are gunna do. I agree.
  13. Kinda goes against what most on here clamor for. Big names in OOC. I actually would be ok going 13-0 and playing no one. Exactly what USF did! You may be on to something....
  14. So, it goes back to that article that @NT93 posted. We just need to schedule nothing but 300 NET teams and be undefeated. Seems it is fools gold for the committee.
  15. Honestly, this is where Vito should ask the tough questions, but he is still worried about his parking pass.
  16. I know, I am blaming the coaching staff. Right now my point is that Stone should not be a scholarship player, but I don't know if the others should or not.
  17. This is my point too. I am not blaming Stone for not being good enough, I am blaming the coaching staff for wasting the scholarship on him.
  18. Yeah, I could understand that, but there were also very smart athletes that got degrees they could use in the real world. I am not saying it is not skewed towards money, but it is the players choice to realize at some point they aren't going to go to the NBA and make something of their free education.
  19. We don't know the full situation there, we just see the end result. I can't criticize them because we don't get to see them play. I can criticize Stone because I have seen him play. In other words, I don't know if they are worth their scholarships, I just know that Stone isn't.
  20. I think that's what my point is. If it were a bottom rung B12 team doing that, they would still have a better chance to make it to the big dance. And for the record, I didn't down vote you.
  21. Old days = before NIL. So for your logic, we should just give away scholarships to players that give our best players rest? I think if that's your standard, there are probably several walk ons that would be a warm body on the court for you.
  22. It was about the students when they played for an education, not for a job. I am a proponent of NIL for the record, just can't say it was never about the students and their education. That's the whole point of a scholarship.
