I am a California newbie. Flight is booked, flying into San Fran Friday afternoon. Game tickets are bought. I am going with 3 of my recent Alumni buddies, need recommendations on hotels to stay at either in San Fran or close to Berkeley. Where is the main college bar strip for Cal? Top two places to sight see/eat in the Bay because only there until Sunday night.

I was telling my buddy this morning that if we go win the next two weeks and play well, this victory won’t matter too much except for the fact that we got a W out of it!

This might come off as a pointless and negative story and it kind of is but.. I was super excited for the retro gear being released this weekend so I made sure I hit the stadium store pregame. I spent a good chunk on the retro Nike T short sleeve, Retro Nike Long Sleeve, & Retro Nike NT Polo. I wore the T shirt and put my favorite unt hoodie back in the bag with the others. While watching the kick get blocked and the confusion after, someone stole my bag with all my gear in it. The worst part is I was sitting on the home side by mostly UNT fans. So I lost a little faith in my unt brethren but I’m guessing they needed that gear more than me.

Preparing for the worst! Hopefully we show up and they will be quiet by the end of the game

Cannot wait until SMU but I am extremely excited because I just purchased 15 tickets on the same row for the Arkansas game. Purchased through SeatGeek sadly because it was so much cheaper than our ticket office. I believe we're sitting right in the middle of Hog fans but will be even sweeter when we upset. Never been to a game in Fayetteville and hopefully we are 2-0 so I can chill out and watch football with a little less stress.

Considering getting my MBA, gonna think on it for year.

I begin this by saying that I realize I am part of just a couple 100-1000 possible students this applies to BUT Not getting started on the selection of NO Bowl, because I hate that we won’t be playing a non P5 team & probably playing a team from our former conference. And playing in one of the first bowls of the season at noon. NO/NM bowls fall on December 16th, the COB & Arts/Sciences colleges graduate that day, probably more. I know the team/athletic department have to do what’s best financially/prestige wise but this really sucks for students that are graduating or attending one. I began during the epic 2013 football campaign & got to enjoy that amazing season. It will go down as my favorite football season ever and being apart of that game against rice(goaline stop). I have experienced the ebbs and flows of this team for 4 years. Gone to many road games (Ruston, Boca, Austin... just to name a few) scrapping whatever money I had being a broke student could get in gas money to get there. So ending my whiney kind of soap box it just sucks this great season I won’t be able to attend the crescendo of the season. I considered skipping grad but I have many family members already booked flights to be there and I can’t make it from my 8am grad to Nola by noon. No I haven't yet cause I believe the only reason it wasn't sent out earlier is because they were still working out the kinks. Hopefully next home game they'll go out sooner if not I'll talk to my buddy in the ticket office.

Current Sr. at UNT and after 4 years of me being here UNT athletics finally switched to an online process for student tickets. It seemed to be an absolute mess with many people not able to access their tickets at all or if they did it was an annoying process. I personally had no problem with it except it didn't send my link until two hours before kickoff. Anyways I ordered my tickets for myself and some alumni friends via the link on Mean Green athletics twitter for the SMU game. It was via the website Fevo and it was flawless and allows you to group yourself and your friends so your tickets are together. You can use a link and text or email it and easily link up and show who has got their tickets. Not super crucial just wanted to give my feedback and see if anyone else liked or disliked the new processes.

Win by 40+, No injuries, & treat the Lamar team & fanbase as warmly as we can after the awful things that have gone down in south Texas

Team has bright future, & looking like a really good chance for another bowl next year. And making a joke about the AD everyone constantly hated in these forums while he destroyed this program isn't a big deal
