  1. My former roommate is marrying his adorable fiancee in about a week and he recently moved out. I've got an apartment on South Carroll Blvd for 310 a month plus half of electric and phone bills. The lease goes up after April. I'm a 20 year old guy and male as well as females are welcomed. If you're interested PM me.
  2. As long as Jerry is the GM, I don't see the cowboys being any good. He should have hired Green, because I see a huge ego clash happening with Parcells much like the Jimmy Johnson situation.
  3. i didn't like it at first, but it grew on me. It looks ok, and its better than that damned "University of North Texas North Texas" logo last year.
  4. that sucked. i don't want to go to another game if we play that awful again.
  5. hmm....my friday night appears to be open right now too...but paying = sucks.
  6. That athletic fee vote was a joke. Something like 12% of the entire student body voted, and it was rejected by a vote of 51% to 49%. Thank god for our SGA.
  7. My best friend from my high school attends Abilene Christian U and i went to visit her for the weekend. While she was at work Friday night I decided to check out the last half of the ACU/Howard Payne men's game goin on. The shooting, passing, ball-handling, officiating, the entire game in general was hard to watch with its subpar level of talent and gameplay. The hecklers in the stands were hardly heckling, but basically harrassing the opposing players, and i didn't see but maybe 5 people wearing ACU's colors in the stands. I found out you can't even smoke on campus, no wonder people were staring at me, but that's a completly different thing. I'm not harping on ACU at all, its a good school, but i just want people to take advantage of having Division 1 athletics, especially football unless you want to watch the same type of games you saw in high school.
  8. could we get a better title for this topic next time? At first glace I thought it said Basketball Death Chart.
  9. That's cool he's from UNT, but he is still Republican.
  10. yeah green bricks is what I had in mine. Tiles would be a great idea too. Carabear-I gots no idea how you could go about getting something like this done.
  11. As I was walking between West Hall and the south side of the new PEB building they're throwing up, I saw the emense wall of bricks almost completed. They're all yellow, pale, and probably came from the same yard as the gateway center. My crazy idea was why not take a few of those bricks, paint them green, and make a big NT in the wall. I'm no carpenter, but I do believe the colour will last for a very long time, and who's to say you couldn't repaint it later on anyways. If you look back through the school's name changes, you will notice that we've always been North Texas. Whether it be North Texas State Teacher's College, or NTSU, or UNT, the NT has always stood. I know it sounds nutty, but I just thought I'd share that with you all.
  12. fair enough, but saying I can't read is almost insulting yourself. We did get accepted to the same university ya know.
  13. I didn't know you couldn't curse. And are you TRYING to get arrested? Me and the friends I brought last week are all not of age. Thanks though, I could use a beer. I never said I wouldn't buy season tickets, I may, I may not. Depending on where I live it may just be better to donate money through the North Texas ex's. The season tickets may not be that much, but the airfare would be.
  14. Mr Cerebus, I'm assuming after your PM to my old name, its ok to post again. Mr 96, Music Major? try again. Emergency Administration and Planning. This is the only school in Texas that I can even get a bachelor's degree at. (I think A&M offers a Masters, but I'm not too sure) Even if I wanted to transfer, I couldn't. I never said I would be hightailing it out of the DFW area as soon as I get my degree either, its just a likely possibility with the demand for my kind in the workforce. You're right, I don't believe in charitable organizations. I am against them so much so that I'll probably work for one as soon as I graduate, if not before. As for your 3 fan challenge to me, done. Last week I convinced two of my friends to go. (although they didn't pay admission, they're students as well) and one of them also brought along her mother. Now, you think you can let me speak my mind without constant harrassment? Just because I may diagree with what you say doesn't mean you have any reason to try and pick on a college kid. ^_^Sorry Grenade guy, didn't mean to come off like an asshole. I guess the correct thing to say in reply would be "what the hell are you talking about?"
