by far the largest reason i listen to the music i do is because it was discussed on the internet at one time, so....discuss? some of my favs include Rival Schools, Queens of the Stone Age, Hot Water Music, Hot Rod Circuit, Lagwagon, at the drive in, the living end, and some more. recently ive discovered good stuff like refused, glassjaw, cursive, supergrass, The D4, Dillinger 4. so yeah. cool...

about a NYC guy (Edward Norton) who's about to serve 7 years for pushin heroin. Its the 24 hours leading up to his departure to prison. It really gets deep into all the characters, and some of the plot is finding out who ratted on him. Good stuff man.

I'd recommend a better new movie called 25th Hour. Don't know if its still in theatres though.

Anyone a current undergrad, graduate, or former student who was involved in public administration. I have a 10 page essay due May 2nd and I need ideas as to what would fill up those 10 pages. It has to be about a current problem or crisis, and the evaluation, implementation of the plan, and possible or resulting effects of a plan or plans. Any help would be great.

most people (including myself) who are anti-war are not anti-military. I don't approve of military action, but that doesn't mean i don't care about the soldiers, the POW's, or their families. I believe in supporting them through backing efforts that will bring them home from this war, and not continue it. Those of you who called me names in the other topic, i don't have anything nice to say about you, but i will say I know you would never say it to my face, so keep it off the board as well. One last thing, the whole "fighting for your freedom of speech" arguement is outdated and far from the truth. My point is that anti-war doesn't mean anti-american, anti-bush (although i was before anyways), nor does it mean anti-military.

nobody says you have to be original when standing up for what you believe in.

I get people confused and the only way i can usually tell people apart is by their avatars, but some people share the same ones. What's everyone's name, are you a current or former student, and wherebouts do you reside? Just trying to reach out and make this place more of a community and less anonymous. I'm Barrett, I'm a sophomore, and i live a few blocks off campus. I'm an EADP major, and i attended all 2002 home games, and the TCU game. Too poor for New O Bowl though. And when my lease goes up in May i plan to move to Dallas to finish all my core classes at a JUCO next year. Don't get my wrong, I like UNT, but Denton sucks to high heaven.

should be $35 for a no permit. And you're right, the parking officers hit lot 37-Wooton Hall- all the time. If you need to be in that building for 15 minutes your best bet is to park in front of Kendall Hall and drop a dime or two in the meter. Short walk and spaces are usually available.

ironman- they all got tickets at practice because they were on a no parking curb, some of them probably had permits.
