I don't think it's very likely we'd get into the Big 12. I know SMU was really trying to get in a while ago, and, well, look where they are now.

One of my biggest problems with this whole thing is that if they decide to actually split the division, G5 schools will end up like FCS schools, with people not even knowing who they all are in 20 years or so. I kind of doubt that it will happen like that but who knows. It could be a only matter of time until players are getting paid.

Just from seeing this, I actually would be really happy if some FCS school beat a P5 school the first week. That would be really nice.

I think there are seven, and probably eight winnable games on the schedule. The only games I'm worried about are Texas, Indiana (they have some pretty good offense), Rice, and UTSA. That's going from what those teams did last year. If we can get 8-4 and pull off some of those other games (maybe Texas) I'll consider that a good season.

I have to agree with what they said about SMU. They're thinking this season is a test for June Jones. If he can't pull it off, he's probably out. I might even say the same thing about Tulsa. They just showed up at 82 by the way.

I remember at the Rice game, the Rice players couldn't hear, and I really couldn't hear either. lost my voice at every game, even the damn UTSA game. It's definitely gonten better since I got here in 2012, when the North Texas chant was something 15 or 20 people did in the student section. And if we keep playing well, and we get good crowds not just in Apogee, but wherever we play, I think it's gonna get better. A bit like A&M. But then again, they have a yell for just about everything... We'll just have to see what Longhorns and Mustangs fans think about us when we're done with them.

To be really honest, if the SEC wants to secede from the NCAA so they can get all the money, and player, and whatever else they want, that's okay. I think they'd end up being more like a little tiny NFL because of the way they want to run things. But that's all right with me. They can just go have fun for all I care. As for North Texas, and probably the rest of whatever conference we end in, maybe CUSA, maybe something else, I don't think too much is going to change. I think Mean Green fans (at least the ones that aren't casuals) will still come watch football wherever they play, and maybe we'll get a little less coverage, but it's not like we're gonna be an Alabama or Florida State any time soon anyway.

I don't think that's gonna happen with the numbers where they are now. They're not even close. Coach Mac is gonna hit 70% in not too long. And Art Briles at Baylor, is gonna go from 15% to 12% in maybe the same time. That's the closest coach there is.

He's got 60% now. He's gonna win no matter what.
