are you refering to the new qb on campus or the ones linked in the article? Recruiting can be a crap shoot, so i dont think anyone is saying these are beat guys, but that they are uncommitted from texas and we need qb help. Hopefully our coaches can recruit and develop someone! (Hoping he is already on campus...)

OSU has the freshman guard Marcus Smart. Hes really good..getting to play him should have been good for our guards.

Number 80 came in and played great at WR. He made some tough catches. I think he earned some more playing time tonight. JimJim needs more carries/touches.

If there is a quality QB on the market I say try to get him.

I believe we will all know the truth next season. He has about 4 dlinemen redshirting. Those are his guys. It will be interesting to see if they get playing time.

Any specific reason you say that about Coleman? Alzee is great at attacking the basket and finishing. He's fun to watch and at his best doing that. I would say Jordan Williams and Walton will be this teams best midrange to deep shooters followed by CJ then TM.

Great point. All the guards were playing tough defense. You could tell it was frustrating the other team. Roger will have a lot of chances to post up smaller players as well it looks like.

One thing Art Briles does is find good quarterbacks.

Where are the games played?

What is the general feeling about how he has done so far? Have we or will we see a step up in the talent being brought in? I remember reading he was well thought of in the AAU circuits.

i will give you the first few points i quoted. I agree about Thompson and the conservativeness. I disagree about where the future talent is coming from. Besides Berglund and maybe the UT transfer, the rest of who will be playing and competing for the depth will high school recruits. I know there are 3-5 dlinemen redshirting along with 2 wide revievers...among others. If you look at last years recruiting class compared to other schools around the sun belt, UNT did quite well. The jury is still out on recruiting and talent evaluation IMO. If there is no success next season, I'll be in agreement with all points.

Pj most definately will. Coach Benford was very excited about him and jordan Williams when i got a chance to speak with him. Just from watching the team in the rec center, I would guess you will see a lot of CJ, Jordan Williams /Alzee, Jordan Williams/Patton, Mitchell, and Coleman. You are right about so many rotations being available.
