To me it is simple. No baseball program at UNT. Sometimes there is an easy answer.

I believe he wants to play baseball so we were never really an option.

He looked to me to have pretty good ball control. It is definitely an area he can work on to become an elite basketball player and not just elite athlete. If I was coaching him during the off season I'd give him some time at the 2, because the experience playing there would only help his skills at the 3. He's just so athletic that if he can start hitting jump shots of the dribble not many teams will have a player to D up on him.

I would like to see chris jones, jordan williams, and tony mitchell as the 1 2 3. Mix in roger franklin, forrest robinson, and the juco transfer at the 4,5 and you are looking at a salty line up.

Good point. He looked like he had a lot of fun with the guys this season .

That will hurt to lose JJ. I'd guess we would lose Tony unless we got a big name to replace..

Three year starter at quarterback at Dallas Skyline. He has an offer from Notre Dame but SMU is the only in state school to offer i believe. I wonder if we will recruit him? I believe Texas wanted to move hom to linebacker. He benched pressed something like 400 pounds coming out of high school. Another UT player transferring in RS/F Chris Jones, wide receiver from East Texas I think. Chris Jones Rivals page

Texas has its QB spot up for grabs. They have Garrett gilbert jr, case McCoy so, Connor wood rs fr, and David ash true fr all competing for it. If Gilbert is named starter again rumor is Connor wood wants to transfer. Supposedly he is not enrolled in classes this summer. He was a four star recruit from houston second babtist HS. No matter who is named starter, one transfer is likely. Just something to keep an eye on as maybe we could snag one!
