Coach Mac talked about how he thought the visitor's locker rooms were almost "too nice."
Given that Coach Mac is part of the Hayden Fry lineage, how long will it be until the visitor's locker room is painted pink?

I'm waiting for the Daniel Meager update.

Got it. Both Firefox and Opera downloaded it just fine. Now you know that I do most of my new stadium daydreaming while I'm at work.
A +1 to you, EEagle Dude, for uploading it to youtube for the rest of the world!

I guess I'll try tonight at home with Firefox.

Now that the AD has been "given the keys", I suspect that the constuction camera will be taken down soon. I'd love to have a copy of the Time-lapse video. Has anyone figured out a way to download it?
When I click the "floppy" icon while viewing the video, a new browser window briefly opens, but then immediately closes (I'm using IE 8). Even if this save function was working, all I'd get would be a single "frame".

How about scheduling Notre Dame?
After Fouts is torn down, then we may have enough RV parking for the Notre Dame fans.

Just spoke with a US Postal Service guy who made this "did you know" revelation to to me. (She lives in Southlake with her husband).
I found that out a year or so ago while reading an article about Kinky Friedman - they are good friends. She appeared in a video Kinky did for "Get Your Biscuits In The Oven", along with Richard Moll (Bull from Night Court). I have it on a VHS tape I bought back in the 90s. It's pretty funny. I don't see the tape (or DVD) available on his web site - so I better keep it safe.

Very nice! Is that your only shed, or do you have two sheds?

King, you've out-done yourself. Thanks so much.

UTA doesn't need to play in Jerry World. They already have an on-campus stadium. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=153618128022127&set=o.144489345589775&type=1&theater
That was a good start 30 years ago, but if they want an on-campus football stadium now, they should tear it down and start over - without a track.
It would probably be a few years before UTA could get a football program going, and then it would be several years more before they'd be competitive - so I'll worry about them around 2021. I will acknowledge that they have a good basketball program.
The WAC is truly WACy.

That's great news. Why does this kind of stuff always air when I'm out of town?
That's what DVRs are for. For those of us who LIVE out of town, I guess we'll have to check the channel 8 web site on Monday to see if the video has been posted.

The U of H Longhorns?

I voted for Necessary Roughness, but it should be whatever will get the most students to come out.

If Joe Don Baker is the theme then go with The Natural.
But he didn't star in The Natural.
Actually, if they were going to subject the students to Mitchell, they should invite Mike Nelson* to "MST it" live - but Joe Don wouldn't like that.
* no, not the Dline coach - but then again, maybe he could!

They actually got the story about how we got the name "Mean Green" right! But no, that's Scrappy, not "Mean Green".

Give yourself a pat on the back too there sir.
No one knows what would have happened if you did not become as engaged as you were in the effort. We'd probably be stuck in Fouts Field FOREVER.
I second that!
Gretchen Bataille, Todd Dodge, Joe Greene, Rick Villarreal, the entire AD staff, and...
and let's not forget Dr. Pohl, who was the first NT president in decades to understand the importance of the athletic program to the university's image.

So they have started putting the rubber pellets into the turf.
Apparently they're pulling an all-nighter. Check out tonight's (6/6) camera images - there's a vehicle with headlights driving around on the turf in the dark.
Maybe because the exit is blocked by the cherry-picker for the video board, they decided to keep working?

49'x25' doesn't sound right. If the video board has a standard aspect ratio of 16:9, then with a factor of 3, it could be 48'x27', for 1296 sq ft. A 16:10 aspect ratio would be 48'x30', for 1440 sq ft - the same as SMU. Of course, it doesn't necessarily need to be in multiples of a foot, and it doesn't necessarily have to have a standard aspect ratio.
I wonder if Soundman has any experience with stadium video boards...

Some may not like it but Dickey deserves an invite. Heck all living ex-coaches should get an invite
Agree, except Bob Tyler. DD & TD likely will be busy with their current jobs, so they probably won't attend anyway.

We must have hired Salvador Dali to paint the numbers.

Seconded!
I usually time my trip home on the Sunday after a game so I can have dinner at Sam's. Great BBQ, CFS, and of course, pie!
