  1. Ok, Let's open the floor for debate on an actual meaningful football topic. Which will be the most improved... The O-Line or D-Line??
  2. After knotching only a few wins last year and having a coach in only his Sophmore season... Personally, I am glad, but pretty shocked that UNT @ LSU was not on that list.
  3. Great Fun... with Great People... followed by Great Food!! What more could we all ask for. It was great putting faces with some names. This was a blast and I can't wait till next year. Perhaps I won't throw two picks next time. No matter it is all good --- and it truely was ALL GREEN!!! Bless you all!! Lynn
  4. The game is only two days away.... bump.
  5. True... but me and my green glasses would like to think that the Mean Green Nation would have still showed up in droves had we won the belt --- Even if it WAS in Lafayette.
  6. I thought this was interesting... 04-05 New Orleans Bowl -- Southern Miss-North Texas -- Rating: 1.4 -- Attendance: 27,253 05-06 New Orleans Bowl -- Southern Miss-Arkansas State --Rating 1.71 -- Attendance: 18,338 06-07 New Orleans Bowl -- Rice-Troy -- Rating: 1.32 -- Attendance: 24,791 07-08 New Orleans Bowl -- Fla. Atlantic-Memphis -- Rating: 1.63 -- Attendance: 25,146 Not as low a rating as Rice-Troy and the largest attendance numbers of the last 4 NO Bowls!! The attendance can't jsut be about S. Miss. They also played the following year and the attendance dropped by almost 9,000!! No one can say that UNT doesn't "travel" well.
  7. Based on these reviews it is no wonder that they are shutting the place down. I have never been witness to an implosion... I'd take the day off work to see this thing come down!
  8. Here is the overview with the Hotel intact.
  9. He is listed on the same website
  10. I can't really add too much smack since this is my first GMG Bowl. I am however, happy as a fox in the hen house to be on the team with the winning tradition!! GO GREEN!!!
  11. This would be an awesome thing for Dodge to do with younger kids --- AFTER we have a stadium that will make an impression in them!!
  12. I'm out of town on Saturday ... My prediction though -- 3750. See you all at the GMG Bowl Sunday!! -- Go Green Team!
  13. The same site has Arron Weathers listed as 59th out of 135 FS's
  14. I found this and thought it was interesting... He will may go undrafted or may perhaps go late but either way surely someone will take a good look at Super Jamario!! Jamario on NFLDraftScout.com
  15. This is being helped by the recent rules that new incoming Freshmen MUST live on campus (ie. in Campus housing) for their first year at UNT. I am working with two folks who's daughters are both new to UNT. This is their Freshman year and even though their families live within 30 miles of the school... the kids have to stay in the Dorms. Hopefully this will instill in them the Traditions and Affiliation that we all which more people felt toward our beloved UNT. My family lived in Denton and I was never given an opportunity to live on campus. Reflecting on this, I feel that I missed out on many traditions that many of you probably got to experience. I never took into consideration the cost of UNT... for me and my family it was all about location and an AWESOME opportunity to get a quality education.
  16. Thank you!!! my point exactly. 30 points (average) is not a stretch for a second year Dodge team.
  17. Great Picture dude... but where was your tallon!! Give the eagle claw man!
  18. I would think he'd love it... having an offense that can put 30 or more points on the board every week SHOULD give your defense room to be able to take some risks, lay their ears back and play aggressivly. Having an attacking, agressive D is what DeLoach is all about, isn't it??
  19. Here's hoping that the next 3 months fly by, but the heat of the summer will probably make it seem like forever!
  20. I have a stupid wedding to attend... no scrimmage for me!
  21. NBA 3-point line is 23 feet 9 inches
  22. Agreed... Monday is a horrible night for this sort of thing. But then I guess any night would be bad for someone.
  23. So give credit where credit is due and just move on... It seems ashame to me to not let them use them if Rick is given credit as the actual photographer... maybe even a link to his website on the untfootball.net site. Seems like free advertising for Rick and offers improved images for what is a pretty nice site. -- This should be a win-win. But then who am I to say anything.
