  1. I was really hoping the 2-9 season could be saved. Bad call.
  2. I say this because I wasn't able to make the game. One of my profs was there and said it was like watching two sloppy drunks in a bar fight. This sounds accurate from what I was able to hear on the radio.
  3. Great post. I think it addresses all the "we're improving" arguments well and fairly. I don't dislike Dodge but he's had his chance.
  4. That's just what they'd be expecting.
  5. I'm going to try to make it. Like some others on this board, I have a very hard time getting anyone to go to games with me. My wife and most my friends couldn't care less- they are typical NT students/alums. There's a good chance I can get my dad to go, though.
  6. Unrelated but interesting. C - Ben Habern - 4 star recruit: http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p...amp;nid=2991593 He is from Liberty Christian and didn't even get a letter from UNT.
  7. I agree. This style offense usually sputters against good defensive teams, especially at highter levels. There's a reason no one runs the spread in the NFL. When Todge was hired, I think most of us expected for us to attract good athletes to where we are competing for the sun belt every year and winning a few that we're not supposed to a la TT. That dream has passed.
  8. Ok this is a point that might have been brought up before, so I apologize if it has. I personally think that Rodge is going to be a great player and I have alot of faith in his future. My feelings for Todge are the opposite and I don't think he's the answer. Part of my faith in Rodge's future lies in the fact that he knows this offense. To make a long story short, how good can Rodge be if we get a different coach that brings in an offense like say, DD. This is not a keep/fire Todge question, necessarily, I would just like some opinions from people who have seen more games than I have this season.
  9. It's not a penalty in the pros either.
  10. He's too busy churning buttermilk somewhere.
  11. I'm pretty disappointed in you.
  12. We're out of the bottom 10. i guess we've arrived.
