we complain about students not coming into games what kind of example to we set by doing the same? i know you have tailgate stuff to clean up. but to intentionally set up a party to celebrate being a unt fan then purposely ignore your team? that is just stupid at any level.

staying in the parking lot or going to the tavern instead of into the stadium is nothing to be proud of. even if trying to make a statement. students think it is ok to do it because of the examples they see from alums not going into the game.

unt fans know adversity. coaches come and go. the fans are left to clean up the mess and continue on.

i would like to see another coach with this team then i will get back to you on who did the better job. until then we are getting killed in recruiting. this is an entertainment product. i am tired of all the constant sad endings.

this list is ranked by total punting yards. not a good list to be on as it implies your team stinks and punts more often. the top ten teams only have about 10 wins total between them. a better ranking is for net or average punting distance, but never for total yards.

The website is another resource for fans, media and prospective student-athletes to learn about Mean Green athletics from the perspective of current student-athletes and coaches. This web site is intended to replace the recruiting element of printed media guides that have been widely abandoned by collegiate athletics departments throughout the nation. In 2009-10, North Texas made the decision to go "green" and stay ahead of the advances in technology by transitioning much of the printed media guide content to online or "virtual" outlets. North Texas was one of a few select schools in the country to produce virtual guides in 2009-10. The virtual guide combined the factual information on the teams and players with multi-media features. Mean Green fans could go beyond just reading about their teams; they could now see the Mean Green teams up close and personal with interviews and behind the scenes videos. For the 2010-11 season, North Texas decided to go a step further and create its own website, specifically aimed at promoting the athletic programs and the University of North Texas. In contrast to the static virtual guides, the Experience site is alive and breathing, constantly changing with new images, videos and information. the drum line used to be the standout part of the band. now they just blend in. i like the band as far as size and spirit but i agree the com is not fully supportive of athletics. but neither is much of the student body or denton in general.

talked to some students who say they only go to tailgate but not into the game as the team cannot win. hard to argue. rv needs to make a change asap so we get a head start on choices before other programs start looking. the new guy can then start recruiting early
