Team, We all love the MEAN GREEN, and it's absolute torment for us all to take in each game lately especially the heartbreakers which are way too often over the last few years). Our administration is and has always committed itself to academic success and has now ultimately committed itself to athletic success with the finalization of a brand new fantastic football stadium for next year. We will be able to host good opponents that will ultimately give us the potential to prosper and develop our football program into one that all of us have dreamed of. I believe all of us respect Coach Dodge for what he has and tried to bring to this program; however, it is time for the University of North Texas to step up and bring in a Division 1 college football coach that can take our football team to the next level. I wish Coach Dodge the best but I think it's time to get a big name college football coach to represent a big time college football program and stadium!!!! GO MEAN GREEN....

Guys, this is another demoralizing loss to take. I don't think I have seen them win a game in a few years. Very tough one to take, especially with such a good crowd. Better Win Next Week!

I have to admit that I thought Dodge was going to be a good fit for this program. I agree with the comment about giving him a pass on the first couple of years due to what he inherited; however, the turnovers and mental collapse that occurs in the 4th quarter (5 games) cannot solely be blamed on players. My fear is that if Dodge is given 1 more year and its proven that he is not the man for the job we will have to open the new stadium with a new coach that will have not had time to develop his system. We need an assistant from a big football program that is ready to make the leap to a head coaching job. We have alot to offer and too much to offer to consistently have a very bad football program. I have to say that it is almost too frustrating to watch, especially when you see other programs (South Florida, Cincinnati, TCU, etcc....) making significant progress. GO MEAN GREEN!

I am soooo pumped about this game! This has the potential to be the the game that gets us on track for non-conf wins. I am hoping for a big turnout. I just drove through campus and there are many more people on campus on a friday night before gameday than have been in the past-hopefully a great sign! North Texas 27 Tulsa 23 This win will be HUGEEE for fan support, and could really help propel us! I don't think I can sleep tonight, I might go ahead and head to the tailgate.

The Mean Green will come away with a victory tonight. They must keep winning, especially these home games if they are going to contend!
