Can some of you guys chill on the negative routine already? It's getting old. I can understand you being negative about losing schollys, that's justified. This is a great article that bodes well for the future of UNT's hometown and all you can do is pi$$ on it.

Michael Pruitt had to change positions (from DT to NT) and that delayed his progress a bit. Man he was such a talent though. Makes you wonder what this 2008 team would be like with a front four of Adrian Awasom, Brandon Kennedy, Michael Pruitt and Darrell Daniels!!!!!! YOWZA!!!

Someone brought this up and I can't believe I didn't mention this in my defense of the 6-win season, but anyone who was at the spring game and saw our new field goal kicker Jeremy Knott hit that sweet 32-yarder into the wind has to feel better about our prospects there.

To me a lot of my support on 6-wins is due to Vizza. I just think this kid is special, a level of player we just haven't have at this most critical position. The other factor is DeLoach, and what he will bring to the table.

I teetered between 5 and 6 wins, and frankly I would be ok with 5. From a recruiting and building the program perspective though, the difference between 5 and 6 wins this is huge. I think 6 wins is possible. The scary thing is I also think with a turnover here or there 3 wins is possible too. The Sun Belt is becoming a very competitive league every single year.

I would like to see us beat Rice, FIU, ULL, Western, Arky St and Muts. Not saying it will be easy but I think those are our best chances. That would put us at 6-6 and would be a 4-win improvement over last year. Anything over that is gravy in my opinion.

I don't like him, but the guy is a good coach. He has done a lot there with limited resources.

Put me in the Capps camp although all of the candidates look pretty good. What about the lead assistant at Texas Tech?

I never really thought he was Texas caliber good myself.
