Watching the game, I thought this would be obvious, but then I read a thread where some here wanted to give the game ball to Abbe... Oh well. Both played a great game, but Whitfield changed the game.

Was fun to see abbe in on a little offense too.

What a great turn around for Whitfield. I figured NT would get the nod this week, but thought it would be Orr. Abbe and little mentioned Boutwell both had super games at dt.

School can only nominate on offensive, one defensive and one special teams player for the award.

Congrats to Zac Whitfield. The Green Guys said tonight that Zac suffered a deep bruise down to the bone on his right foot against Georgia. He's been working with Coach Walters on pushing off and pivoting off his left foot instead of the dominant right as he's used to. Maybe his performance Saturday is just a glimpse of things to come from Zac down the stretch.
