I don't have a problem with all of the bowls. Although, I would like to see a greater than .500 record become a rule by which a school can make it. The random pairings of teams intrigues me. It's great to watch two schools that have never played, to me at least. No complaints from me....keep the bowls coming, as long as their record is above .500!

If I remember correctly, last year's score was in the single digits or close too and we all know how our defense didn't step up last year. So I don't think we can measure our defense based on our offensive performance last night. I would have liked to see how JMo handled playing the option. I don't know if that's a hard thing to learn, but hopefully he can do it just fine when Woody is in there.

I don't see Gonzaga going past the first weekend for a couple of reason. First, if they get tired, their talent level drops temendously, just look at their tournament as an example. Also, if Batista doesn't get fully recovered, other teams can dominate them on the inside. The Zags will probably be a 2/3 seed, meaning that they will have to face a 6/7 seed provided there aren't any upsets. Those teams will more than likely come out of the BCS conferences and I wouldn't be shocked to see them lose to someone from the Big East or Big Ten. Just my two cents....Southern Illinois, UW-Milwaukee....I would choose one of those two teams as the ones to advance the farthest.

Should it...no, not in a perfect world, but this isn't a perfect world. There are plenty, and I am assuming, of lower tiered schools that have better facilities than us or other Sun Belt members. That's not what's most important. We are going to have a new baseball stadium. Why isn't that enough? What happens when we get a new football stadium, but it isn't as nice as Troy's or some other schools? This isn't a race as to who has the prettiest facilities. We have new facilities and they are nice.

I agree on having nice facilities, but the facilities for a couple of brand new sports don't have to be the best in the conference. Of course, recruits want to play in nice facilities. That's why we're building new facilities for these sports. I just don't want to go overboard and then have something happen to the funding of these sports or some TITle IX problem. I think it's a damned if we do, damned if we don't thing.

Why should the university go overboard on a baseball field or a softball field when the two sports just started? How about we see what type of progress is made and whether or not the sports even make it? Later on, someone can donate money or something and they can improve on the existing structures. I've got no problem with what we are building. It might not be the best or the prettiest, but it doesn't have to be right now.

7th grade B team...I went from 4th string free safety to 1st string because the other guys failed! We lost all 4 games we played that year. Football wasn't my sport.

Man, their reporter must have decided to take it easy. Most of the games on all the teams' schedules "could go either way." Way to step out there fellas!!! For the record, we better beat SMU and make it a game at Tulsa.
