I do not agree with new hire comparison-this is more comparable to turning around a whole company and in a bad economy. It will simply take more time, Dodge inherited a horrible team. The talent he has assembled thus far is impressive that buys him more time alone IMO This is a TEAM sport, fans forget this. It is extreme oversimplification to blame one person, yes he is "CEO" but he needs all the pieces in place first, before we judge. I think he will be there next year as far as having what he needs talent and depth wise. I also understand the frustration, but realize it is human nature to be impatient, I want to win today but it is not turning out that way. HOLD ON and enjoy the beer and bbq.

The past record means nothing it is a new season, new team, with a new attitude. BTW this a very young and talented team, so get ready for years of ass whoopin's to come (again)

You would think people with such high ideals would absolutely hate it when people GENERALIZE. I will save the obvious examples pertaining to race, religion, school attended etc. Not fair to say the actions of a few=actions of all just because you do not like the group due to rejection, jealousy, IGNORANCE or whatever) There are many men in these organizations across the globe who have high ideals and are striving to make these organizations positive ,character building organizations. I read a knee jerk thread last week trying to blame the impending loss of the vote on the apathetic greeks. There is NO WAY this passed by such a margin if the greeks did not vote YES. I agree with untlifer. I thought about when I was a freshman in HS(Texas 5A school) and we had to go scrimmage with the varsity. That was brutal, I know this is a little different but still freshman and sophomores (mostly) playing junior/seniors has to be part of the problem. I believe we have underestimated this difference in age and experience. In addition, after seeing the team in person for the first time this year, I am very, very impressed with the ATHLETES we have. I feel 100% confident in our coming years. Be patient.

Where do I say hire more people??????????????????????????????????????????????????? I said fire the incompetent ones and hire people that get the job done. I have been a member of this board and its predecessors a long time and I do not post very often because of know it alls like you, i dont know if you are still a student or are an alum but I'm willing to bet you have not been in the real world very long if at all. Have you ever participated in the halftime event with your kids? that is waht I thought. Why would anyone attack any fellow supporter of the school for suppporting the school i will never understand.(the sarcastic way to go comment is what i am reffering to)

Thank you for summing up the attitude that needs to change I buy season tickets, donate to the meangreen club and meangreen jr club so I do not have to do the work of the athletic dept.!!!!!!!!! If the interns cannot enforce a simple rule , fire them and hire someone who can. We must stop accepting mediocrity!

My kids have been members for many years and the rules is, as I understand it, that you must wear your meangreen jr club shirt from the current year. So, if you dont have the shirt you do not participate in the halftime festivities end of story. Why have a rule or a club and not enforce the rule, either enforce the rule or let everyone down there or nobody down there, there is usually a good reason for a rule, and if there is not a good reason get rid of the rule.
