We won 20 games because we're a much better home than road team. Really only WKU truly whipped us at home this year(UNO is a bit of an asterick with the squad decimated by the flu). I mean we beat USA at the SuperPit this year. Really, if there's one thing you can say about JJ, is he knows how to win at home. The last 3 or so years w have a sparkling record at the SuperPit.

SUMG and I were discussing that today. He has started to convince me we may get in. I originally didn't think we had much of a shot. It's not the NCAA, or the NIT(which still does have a certain amount of cache if/when you make it to the Big Apple). BUT, I'd take it!

We don't have much of a chance at the NIT. From what I understood the NIT relies primarily on the RPI of the uninvited to the NCAA's. Since we currently sit at 138 according to RealtimeRPI that would seemingly exclude us. Here are the Rules though. http://nit.org/about-nit/selection-procedures.html

I wouldn't say that! They both had some great games, especially Quincy near seasons end. Keith unfortunately had injury issues almost all year.

I'm really proud of our seniors as I said in the other thread. This season had high hopes from alot of us, and though we may not have reached many of them - we did have a good season. Especially by our recent past. If JJ keeps this train rolling we're gonna have even more fun in the years to come.

Unless a miracle happens and we get in the NIT or the new CBI.

Dez Willingham...sorry you got injured after only half the season. I appreciate you coming here. Quincy Williams....you never had a losing season. Plenty of great double doubles the last 2 seasons Keith Wooden....not the senior season you wanted with injuries, but you've shown so much these last 2 years. Ben Bell...our fearless leader. Not sure how we can replace you. For Q, Ben, and Keith they were part of back to back 20 win seasons. Our first since the 1970's. And they helped us to our 2nd NCAA tournament. I'll miss you guys dearly.
