  1. That is pretty much what happened in Lafayette for this season. They gave Bustle an extension rather playing out the final year of his contract; however the buy-out clause was reduced for the added year. I'm hoping we give him another extension, or new contract because that would mean he succeeded and we are not starting over again! Suspect most of you want Dodge to succeed for similar reasons. No guarentee either of us get a "better" coach the next time around.

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready for some football! This off-season stuff is killing me. B)

Do you like the phrase "I'm not saying... I'm just saying"?

  2. I don't know about y'all, but Lets Get It On by Marvin Gaye gets my blood pumping!

I don't think there's a better song out there to jack up any player.

Just imagine all of the UNT players busting out of that inflatable helmet with this song blasting in the background.

"Here they come! THE MEEEEEEAAN GREEEEEEEN!!" (repeat eagle caw/screech noise)

Wow, what an atmosphere that would create! I know I'd be ready for some hard-hitting action.

  3. Any sport that allows a player to fall untouched, lay flat on his back, wait for the stretcher, be carried off, then proceed to jog around the field shaking his teammates hands after being replaced on the field with the clock running is pure stupidity.

I've always felt that if you come off, you should be done. Don't allow for the stretcher to come get you off the pitch, then spray some air on your ankle and come back on the pitch. To go with this, I think the ref should only allow for 20 seconds maximum to attempt to get up. If you cannot continue, you can be carted off, and have a sub come on for you. I think that would cut down on alot of the fake injuries.

I expected the Germans to win today, but not to crush England like they did...
