  1. Remember, it won't always be like this. We have the facilities and location to be competitive... That's something plenty of schools can't say
  2. One more thing, can we ATLEAST give Caponi a pay cut next year?? Seems ridiculous given the money he is making
  3. Sorry... Trying hard to not explode right now. Going to get a drink and log off Football season is almost over my friends!!!
  4. Dude we have the worst defense in all of college football... A field goal doesn't do shit
  5. That Landon kid is good. Great example of prioritizing our local recruiting efforts on realistic prospects
  6. Defense really hasn't seemed to grow at all. I pray we hit the portal hard
  7. Season is not over. Let's reevaluate our strengths and focus on making good shot selections. We're fighting with legitimate competition and have a great chance to win tomorrow. Live to see another day, let's get back over .500
  8. I am sorry for being a prick. We're all here to root for the Mean Green and all of you want what's best for UNT just as I do. Smaller programs on the rise like UNT needs the strongest base of die hard fans and I haven't been contributing to that fandom Sitting behind a screen being negative and trash talking towards a bunch of grown men is a pathetic way to show my love for this school. Much of this page has been here LONG before I have been a fan (Hell I am amazed this thing started in the early 2000's. But enough rambling. I am going to take a break from posting on this site and just focus on being a positive fan. I am bringing 10 of my friends to the Tulsa game this weekend, so that'll be a good start for me, GMG
  9. My overall goal coming into this season was to see a top 25 appearance... Still possible but this loss will definitely leave no room for error
  10. You're right... It just gets so frustrating feeling like we have a strict limit in how much of our potential we can achieve.
  11. Seriously, you try to tell me this team is capable of winning on Friday OR Saturday when they managed to still lose to a St John's that looked absolutely terrible
  12. This is why it's so horrific to experience being a fan of a G5 school like UNT. You'll constantly be competing for the same prestige as P5 universities, but will constantly be reminded of your facility, academic, financial, and recruiting disadvantages that plague victimized athletic programs like UNT. Sure, you can build something once in a blue moon, but as soon as you appear appealing enough to be raided by a bigger program, you're instantly knocked down to "just another mid major." There's rarely any hope for a massive turn around and even the slightest of errors (like today's game) can immediately wipe away any preseason hype or expectations Nothing good has happened since Wren's departure, admit it... And don't say the NIT team because those elements were built by Wren.
  13. Yeah guys so remember saying Hodge was a defensive coach? Well last year UNT really was carried by only 2 or 3 key pieces, everyone else contributed to the defensive side of the ball, but not the offensive. Hodge knows nothing of offense
  14. If North Texas manages to find a way to beat St Johns, I will delete my account and never post on this site ever again.
  15. Students (including me) will be home for Thanksgiving. Think similar to the Rice game last year, maybe a bit less
  16. Haha... It's a small NAIA college in Wichita, Friends University.
  17. Memphis and FAU will get the bids
  18. Let me repeat, EVERYTHING WE DO REMINDS ME OF A HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM.
  19. 6 years ago it would've blown up. Now with the transfer portal and NIL, I am not so sure
  20. I thought basically ALL of our alumni were based in DFW?
