Well let’s hope they think of some ways… I know some of y’all have wanted Jackets from the sideline, people wanna have meet and greets with the coaches, sounds like one hell of a way to raise some money right there to get the ball rolling

So that sounds as if they do not currently have the $20-25M to upgrade those two buildings/centers currently… once we do get that money they would tackle those issues then move onto next.. I assume they did not give a $ that they are short.

I’m honestly to lazy and could not find the part of the press conference but JM talked about expanding the AD office and the athletes tutoring/studying center… or something along those lines if I heard correctly.. can anyone clear up what was actually said or what was implied when he did this?

Maybe they are finishing up bowl games? honestly I would really like to see Morris and then entire staff do a fan event (do it after one of the basketball games) and intro the coaches, have them talk schemes, etc… im sure they could get some donations as well

Can we get some hype videos of Morris brother drinking it up and yelling at refs plz… this would be next level hype for fans and students 😂

It could be said DC is with his team still for the bowl game and DC told Morris to go get him. it’s all an unknown but Morris is not going to be out micromanaging his DC

Asking for your 2cents here… Would it be better to go get these coaches out of other areas on the state? Like go get one guy from Houston and another from west/east Texas? im also hoping these guys are premium coaches as well in the HS ranks potentially(🤞)

Morris can make offers on his own

@TheReal_jayDi know it’s highly unlikely but I feel with the timing of the announcement, this isn’t such a silly question to ask… could we potentially see a recruit or two decommit elsewhere and flip to UNT because of Gilbert?

The answer shouldn’t be based off record the first year.. A lot is going on during that first year.. before people get upset, yes record is important but laying the foundation is vastly needed at UNT. With that being said… Morris is coming into a program at UNT which on paper seems to have a more talented/deeper roster than SL took over when he got here. The question is and should be asked, how does the SL roster that Morris is inheriting fit what Morris wants to do. With that being said, SL/Morris are both from the Leach coaching tree. Morris seems to be a more pass heavy coach, can this team do that will be the major question… Morris has HC experience, not at this level but he should be aware of things that SL has to somewhat learn in the fly. The move to the AAC is going to be a challenge. Just based on the teams, the rosters, the facilities that those schools are ahead of us. With that being said, I think Morris can have a successful year, but it will not potentially be record wise. If he is able to find a QB, WRs in the class or that is currently on the roster that will vastly improve us going forward.

I would like to see 1-2 Current HA coaches added in the recruiting role that can be assistant position coaches. This hire is fantastic and I would like to see Morris/staff add alittle more HS good Karma/connections to truly aid this staff after NSD and going forward

You do not need 4/5* to win.. you need coaches who can develop players and put guys into the best position to win. game planning and development is what is key. The development of a QB as well vastly improves chances as well.

Do we have ideas on the staff in terms of names for positions, or when announcing some of them will occur??

Here is an email list of people in the admin… I would email y’all’s requests for desire for improved merch to multiple people… such as the Executive assistant for JM, the mean green scholarship fund individuals (tell them you’re an alumni and they should be able to potentially help).

UNT deal…. also how does a school known for broadcasting have the worst radio… and has one of the biggest/best sports stations in the country here in DFW that is filled with various alumni not our broadcast partner?!? (But they are the radio partner of SMU)

I would say start having people call up to the ticket office asking for this jacket, if that does not work start tweeting at JM and maybe eventually he will get the hint
