  1. Starting to wonder if all these hires aren’t/haven’t been queued up all this time and announcing them daily to sustain interest and/or keep UNT in the news.
  2. We’re all clearly flipping out and doing fist pumps in the air. What do you think the other coaches on the staff are doing? They have to be even more excited and can’t wait to get to work.

  5. I wouldn’t read much into it. They still have a bowl game and he’s probably honoring his commitment to UT and will see it through. Even though he doesn’t have an on-field responsibility, many of those kids are ‘his’ and wants to finish with them. Respect.
  6. I thought it was said that TP kids couldn’t take visits until Jan 4 ?
  7. Agree to a point. I suspect they are going to work the HS recruits as much as possible but will probably take a dip in the TP a little more than they would want, even if they are 1-year grabs. Success often breeds success and winning helps recruiting. I doubt there are any plans to shoot low in year 1.
  8. I think so. Thought I read where we would still be responsible for whatever balance was left over. So here’s to him getting a big pay day from somebody.
  9. Wonder how much a new stadium naming deal would bridge that gap?
  10. That would have been a huge disservice to EM and would only have generated unnecessary banter. EM is the only candidate that should matter.
  11. - Maybe he wasn’t the initial target. - Maybe he was and it took much work to get him. Only those involved really know the level of effort it took to lock him or any of the other hires down Dont complain about a wet $100 bill.
