I am as big a UNT homer as the next guy, but I'm with you here. This has been the worst Scrappy mascot costume we have put out. Cant support this. #NotMyScrappy

Yeah, it was not the best thing I've ever seen but def not the worst. Tbh, that's what I have loved about UNT. You can be into the arts, business, Greek life, sports, or have blue hair... UNT is a strange awesome place where they all seem to get along. Dont knock it. Good for them for putting themselves out there. GMG!

I don't know... after reading all the tension in these posts about our feelings about UTSA. Seems like some ingredients to a budding rivalry. Something that I think makes for a good rivalry is general disdain for a team. Honestly, I like the idea of them becoming a rival. Yes, proximity-wise, smu makes sense. However, I don't think they think about us too often. UTSA is in conference, in division. I think there is some jealousy on our part for how quickly they have grown. It is a game I want to be sure to watch (bc of 2013). Makes sense to me. GMG!

Totally ok with UTSA not being a rival. So who would you say us our rival? UTSA could be a good future candidate to be one. Not far from us and are up and coming. Again, who's a better candidate? An in-state rival would be nice to have.

I admit that I like classic looks that never change (UT), but I hope we get some snazzy unis this next season. It attracts recruits. Anything we can do to get an edge is great for me. Heres hoping we we get an announcement soon. GMG!

Greetings Mean Green family! I am graduating in the Spring and will be ordering my class ring soon. I wanted your thoughts on what to get. - Gold or silver finish? - Antiqued or natural? - Get the green stone on top? - Is there a style ring considered "the standard"? I'd love to see what you guys have yourself even. I plan on ordering it in the next few weeks but wanted to ask here. Thanks!
