This is bad news. We want all CUSA schools (especially schools in Texas) to keep trying to be better. The students at UTSA just made it really tough on their AD to keep momentum.

Well, get ready to hear it. If the team that played Troy shows up... we wont. I want to win this game, trust me... but we need to grow up this offseason if we want to beat an SEC team, let alone, SMU.

I am looking to buy some new duds. For example, I was looking at some new ties that came in every shade out there. The two green colors that looked closest to Mean Green colors were either kelly green or apple green. I know there are official colors that the university sites, but if I want to buy some regular clothes that are close to the shade of the Mean Green. What common color is closest out there? Thanks! Yes, we have had the best season of UNT football we have had in years... but to me it seems like jumping the gun on raising season ticket prices/donations like this. Can you imagine the response there will be if we dont match this season's wins next year? I think a hike like this would have made more sense if we we had at least back to back winning seasons, not just one. Yes, people are excited about UNT football, but maybe spend one more year getting them in the gates and in love with the product on the field before trying to see if they will pony up the $$. I am all in for the price increase, but we better keep winning. Is that wrong for me to think that? GMG

I am with you here. I will wait to see what gets officially announced before I start freaking out. Of course prices will go up. I just hope its not so drastic that the fan/alumni on the fence will be turned off from checking out the Mean Green in 2018

Regarding all this band talk: I think the issue is that the bar has been raised. We have raised the bar with the whole game day experience. The football team is winning, the stands are filling up, and there is great buzz about this program. We are starting to turn that corner. So, it is hard to watch something that still seems to be behind the rest of the experience on Saturdays. I hope they step up and if they want to keep calling themselves "the best band in the land," they should consider taking a look at where the new bar has been set. I would much rather watch some othe Texas program's college bands. We are one of the best music schools in the country. i know that doesnt mean "best marching band school" in the country... but still.

I think I would be on board with the AD moving the time that would get more students there vs making sure that the game isn't too late for someone's toddler. It would nice to have a later time because it will be more comfortable for students to be there I have 2 kids under 5. I am ok with them not making it to the game.

Ok... would you rather a night game here or a noon kickoff?

How can we get this game kicking off st night. Even 6:00 is too early. A lot of the student section will still have the sun in their face then. 6:30 or 7:00 kickoff would be great

I will take a few seasons of 9 wins. It makes us relevant and in the event he leaves. Another coach can come in and take us to the next level. Could you imagine what a few ears of 9 wins would do for this program?

Even if we do that, I don't think we finish top 25. The CFB world has looked down on us for too long. We do that in 2018 AND 2019... I say we finish top 25

Just heard one of the hosts do a commercial spot promoting the start of Bowl watching season by heading up to the NO Bowl watching party in Denton. He even ended the promo with a "CAW!" Love hearing local guys talking about THEIR school with pride. GMG!

I was just about to bring this up. This is a small part of what burns me about losing to them. They are the 'Fightin Lanes," they have a great team, something to be excited about... and no one there seems to care. Even with our past issues with attendance, I think we would have packed Apogee for a CUSA Championship game. I hope we get to see that happen this next season! This is why they are bowling at home. No one wants to invite them to one that the fanbase would have to travel to. They cant drive down the street to their home stadium. Imagine the turnout if they had to go to a different state. GMG!
