I'm curious to see if FAU wants to keep on Briles after this. Everyone knew he was somehow involved, but the "white women" quote is pretty bad PR.

I'm curious. I've seen it all over the thread, people are saying we have a chance to flip him. What makes y'all think that he in particular could be flipped?

Does anyone else feel like we're already falling behind for the 2018 recruiting cycle. We have offered the 4th least guy's in our conference. UTEP has offered 0, yes 0, Rice has offered 6, LA Tech has offered 15, and we have offered 16. There are some schools in C-USA who have already offered 90+. Furthermore, UAB already has a couple of recruits committed, one of which is a 4 star safety. FAU has already got a couple 3 star recruits (one is a borderline 4 star OLB). It just kinda feels like we're starting slow because we're so worried about getting to this NSD. Thoughts?

So I was looking through 247 at our offers list and the number of players is quickly diminishing as well as us not being in the player's listed top 5 and that means we're down to a very limited set remaining listed: Robbie Blosser - QB Devlin Isadore - PWO Nick Gerber - QB Rajan Cunningham - APB Tyrone Middleton - RB DeAndre McNeal - WR Tre Siggers - WR Roderick Ford - WR Cecil Cole - WR Tyler Castaneda - OG Segun Ijiyera - OG Gage Mallory - OG Josh Donovan - C Lagaryonn Carson - SDE RJ Reynolds - SDE Tyreece Lott - DT Dion Novil - DT Jack Driggers - K Of course we've had several commitments/BS/PWOs coming out of nowhere, but this should be a pretty solid list to watch up to NSD. These players listed are uncommitted with North Texas listed as in their top 5 on 247.

If they've only averaged 3 wins in the last 2 seasons wait to see what he can do when he doubles that in a single season

Didn't know O'Hara got a medical RS. Blosser could be RS and we would for sure have a 3 star QB for 5 years. Plus who knows, with his arm strength and field vision he could potentially beat out Pearson and Fine. Just a thought.

O'Hara is going to be a senior next year, Isadore only has 2 years, Shanbour is going to be a RS senior. That means we only have 3 QBs with more than 2 years left. Plus then we can maybe RS him

He still hasn't committed anywhere even though 247 lists him as a 100% prediction to Tech. Any idea if we're still going after this guy. We have picked up lots of OL guys but would def. be consideration for BS

247 still has us in his top 5. Does anyone know if we are still pursuing him or if we're just going for 1 WR in this class?

It's kind of sad honestly that the guy has to choose between a full ride and a half ride. Do we really have that bad of a local reputation? Common sense says go to the full ride D-I, but we'll see what he picks. Hopefully he'll head over this way.

Change takes time. I think we'll know more about what direction he wants to go after we see our new basketball hire. Our AD needs A LOT of work, but I feel he has been handling the not-so-public stuff first that we don't necessarily see first hand, but rather just the effects of what he does.
