You asked for “a reason”. Maybe you can turn this into a top 10 list based on the responses.🤣

Somewhat related to the last few posts.
I’ll add that I think this is what the SEC does in football. Win most of your non-conference games against bad teams and then beat up on each other during conference play so people who don’t dig deeper into the numbers just assume you’re good.

And you followed with the gif. 🤣🤣
Hilariously Pitiful 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I thought your reply was funny…in a ridiculous sort of way that didn’t justify a real response.

Pitiful. I think there will be even less player loyalty to the program in the future. Sadly, few players these days spend their entire college sports career at the same school or appreciate their time playing for a program. It's more about what will you give me if I play for you?
I’m going a little off topic, but I can easily see a day in the not too distant future where there are no retired numbers, no ring of honor type tributes, and certainly no statues of great players.

Odd translation to someone admitting they made a mistake and apologizing, but whatever.
Pitiful
Trash
Is there really that much difference?

Quote the team is “trash” comment. I wrote a lot today. I remember “pitiful”, don’t remember trash 🗑️. Would love to see what followed. Thanking you in advance.
My apologies. Didn’t intend to put words in your mouth, but I certainly did. Ridiculous use of quotations on my part.

If it is true for him, then it should be true for me - right? Unless you have an agenda as it relates to me. Playing favorites are we? Not enough board seniority?
Why does this theme continue to resurface in darn near every conversation?
No need to answer any of my questions. I already have the answers.

I thought it was rhetorical question to get in a jab at that guy you have the love/hate relationship with.
To answer your question, he’s correct. But what you did by calling the team “trash” hardly seems the same to me.

As @Censored by Lauriehas so eloquently put it, both things can be true.
Or is @Censored by Laurie wrong? 🧐
Odd reply, but you’ve made it obvious that you have some sort of problem with @Censored by Laurie so I guess maybe I should have expected it to go there.

You are about as pitiful as that team that trots out 1-2 times per week. The lone player that keeps you from being the embarrassment of the league is your whipping boy.
This doesn’t sound like someone who “supports the team” as you ranted about a few weeks ago.

Are you saying that losing the conference MVP was a big loss?
No one could have expected that.

I think "wite receivers" is supposed to be the tipoff.
If they can play, apply themselves in the classroom, and represent my alma mater well, I don't remotely care how light or dark their skin tone happens to be.
I got it, just hoping it’s a joke and not serious.
Completely agree with your sentiment.- 1

I am loving the stable of wite receivers we are building here. Landon Sides, Dalton Carnes, Kyle Koch, Wyatt Young, and Baron Tipton all seem to have bright futures. If only we had hung on to Coy Eakin or had an upperclassmen like Johnny Quinn or even Michael Lawrence still playing.

Guessing this is supposed to be a joke.

Would it be better to rest him more since UTSA is...just UTSA?
Seems to me to be a good chance to get him in the lineup and knock off any rust/get back to playing shape and work on the rotation.

Conference tournament is going to be wide open!
I think any of the top 7 could legitimately win the tournament. I would be very scared of UNT (if we get healthy) and Memphis.

not great for UNT/the conference. no more ranked teams and rather than the depth of the conference getting national respect, my guess is we're legit down to being a 1 bid league.
When the big boys beat up on each other in conference it’s because the conference is deep, but when mid-majors do it, it’s because the conference is weak.

He should play when he’s cleared to play. Why leave a healthy starter on the bench?
Edit after reading @Greendylan post. I agree. By being cleared to play, I meant that as being 100%.

The AAC has 7 teams that should be either NCAA or NIT. Based on only 3 teams listed in the NIT and no way 4 get in the NCAA, a couple of teams may get left out in the cold.

Stating the obvious here, but 6-0 is the ceiling and 4-2 is the floor. Not much room for error.

I saw Pat Benatar there in about ‘88. Not sure where that stands in the greatest moments at the Super Pit🤣🤣🤣
Will we have anymore HOF players

I don’t think any of those guys are HOF worthy, and I say that being a huge fan of each of them.
