I am pretty sure it was not just missing practices.. again I am waiting for the person who had said what it was earlier to come here and say what it was. But also you don't want to just rag on the players just like you should not rag on the coach. I have heard of the differences in practices between JJ and Benford though. it seems like expectations are a bit higher under this coach. Again there have already been instances mentioned before about this and how a Jordan Williams lazy pass was addressed in practice by this coaching staff.

The core group of players will be back. I still do not understand where people get off making these comments... Tony may go to the NBA and PJ may transfer to FIU but everyone else is coming back. The only other one I am curious about is Alzee. He needs to get it back together and be our 6th man next season. * Clark may be questionable for the future as well but the addition of Shirmane Thomas gives us even more depth at the guard position.

I think a few people on these boards know but I do not think anyone will answer this.... I am pretty sure it would just make things worse and you do not want those kind of things on print. I would also like to point out that he has had issues in the past, but a past coach let things slide. That is why we ended up having players not make the grades and a few other issues that never made it to the front of a headline. I guess I am not following meangreentexas post though. I guess I could steal (not saying this is what Alzee did) and it is all cool as long as I do not get caught or the coach lets it slide. I think Alzee will be back next season but on a short leash. I hope he makes better life decisions. He has had a lot going on this year and needs to grow up a bit. I know we all want him to be here next season and make the right choices.

I agree and I think it will. I believe Benford when he said he stressed defense. On the floor it obviously needs work. I do not think that during a game he could affect Jordan or PJ letting their man get open. He can stress it during practice, but during game time it is up to the players. Lets just see what happens and hope that the ship is righted alrighty.

Actually these are the exact words from my boy Gene who most people on here think is an idiot. But I would like to see how many people have had a full ride scholarship to play ball, coach in college and get a try out for the Ft. Worth Flyers... You know nothing about what you speak of and belittle those who do. It does not matter what I say because my words cannot overcome ignorance... Maybe Benford is not the answer but one year means nothing. A year of success or a year of failure. What matters is what happens in the long wrong. We still have a lot of extremely talented players coming back and a coach who knows this game and can win! I also believe you know very little of what has gone on behind the scenes this season. I am not saying I do either but I have heard of a few things and in all honesty a lot of things cannot be placed Benford. Give the man another year. If we only win 8 to 10 games next season then we can talk. This will also depend on injuries and off the court issues.

We will win a lot of games and by the end of the season most of you will be puckering up to Benford and praising him He will continue to grow the program and we will get over this hump. 16 wins in CUSA (even the new one) is much better then 22 wins in the sunbelt....

me...? You must have me confused with someone else. I never typed that he was 6;10' ever... I had read he was 6'10' but it was not my statement. I do believe he is 6'8' based on what I have seen and heard from first hand accounts. I can quote someone else but that does not mean that it is what I 100% believe or my words. I am not saying he is some great ball player and this video is pretty lackluster but If he is 6'6' at the tallest then he must have been playing with a lot of 5ft nothing guys... to me it looks like he could be 6'8'

He just likes to make thingsup ..... I have heard from multiple people he is decent sized. I have never heard say he is 6'10". But I have heard 6'7" and 6'8". At this point we just need any body down low... Especially if Mitchell leaves. Like Franklin if they play with heart anything is possible. Still it would not hurt to get a solid 6'9" juco player. With the addition of shermain (forgot last name and probaly misspelled the first) to the guards we are running out of nig bodied players. Unless of course pj transfers, Tony leaves, or another major move happens.

I think we would win 16 or more games next season. Give Benford into next season. If it fall s apart again then we can talk. This is one year and it is an absolute lie if you think that a single year will destroy our program. Again if we have another season like this next year then yes I am all in favor of talking about changes. I think Benford knows this game and has much higher expectations the previous coaches.... He realizes there is more to life then basketball.

If he was in the wrong he was in the wrong. Hope he gets to play tomorrow and can change his mentality and attitude before next year.

If he stays and play another year at unt to develope on both ends he might. He is a defensive beast in college basketball but in the NBA he will beplaying a completely different position. Lebron and Melo will run all over him for a while.

I realhat hope that in some way Roger can come back and be on the bench for this team next year!

I just wish there was a way to remove the green bars around the base. Remove it and find a way for more seats t be on the floor. It has always looked empty when on television because of the design. Do that plus lighting, some new technology, and paint those brown boards green and we are set...

Well the team captain is finally back from injury and can hopefully start in hot spellings and lead them to victory! Things are finally clicking and CJ is ready finally. He learned a lot behind Benford when he was out.

I would have gone 15! Where can I sign up for this!? I am dead serious. Heck I already have my summer Vegas trip planned (missed out on spring break this year). Serisouly with CJ back as our Captain next year and our guard play we will do it for sure.

The free meal was fantastic! Thanks to who ever put this on! Truly awesome. A perfect night all around.

He kept jawing at the refs for about 2 straight minutes while he was just sitting there. Saying worst call of the year ref and things of th nature.
