And all you are doing is attempting to justify your dislike of Tony Benford by placing any blame of Tony Mitchells failures on him (Benford). Is it any different? You want Mitchell to suceed to prove it was Benford. It goes both ways so get off then high horse and give it up. Let's just cheer on the players and the coaches and hold them all accountable going forward.

I like that the new board will bring in revenue for the Athletic department. That was a pretty wise move! I am wondering how it only cost 1.2 mil and the practice facility (one court) cost 3 mil. I winder what else is in the facility and now I am curious how big the hanging board will actually be. I reallyhope it does not let down.

My point was it could have been worse... Would you have wanted to lose all 3 of those players and not have TJ Taylor this year just to avoid one bad season? The negatives for that comment just show tue stupidity that occurs on these boards. Maybe these players should leave because it is obvious our fans do not deserve them.

But keeping Mitchell is what kept Jordan and CJ here. CJ already said that if Mitchel declared last year that he was going to leave no matter who the coach was. I wuld assume JW would follow but not sure. He is/was really happy here.

Benford is the reason Mitchel stayed. That in itself kept the team together. That was the big goal. Otherwise just think about how bad our team would have been without CJ, JW, and TJ. If Mitchell is successful It is on Mitchell and if he fails it is on Mitchell. Either way he still respects Benford and this university. Amazing to think that successful people out there are not as shallow as people who are full of negativity huh. I wish Mitchell the best and hope he succeeds but there is no blaming anyone else for his ups and downs.

This is a little bit frustrating because he was my backup plan if Benford did not pullit off this year... This is troublesome. I have no concern over lossing PJ or Clarke. This news on the other hand could change a lot of things going forward. Lundy was always working with Jordan on his shot and the main reason he got so hot this year. I really hope he stays in case this year goes down hill. Benford was able to keep the team together and I think Lundy would be the only other one who could do this going forward if Benford does not work out. (granted most p,ayers would be seniors in 2014 so it would be unwise for them to leave).

Completely agree Travis! Seems pretty hypocritical to accuse a university of giving up on a team and then in turn doing the same yourself believing it will somehow fix anything...

This was expected anyway... We may see him next season anyway. Granted he will be n the bench for a year.

I would love 16 if Rice would stay and Tulsa would come back! Then that final spot could go to someone like Houston. I would even been willing to dump Charlotte for ECU and FAU for UCF. ODU for Tulane? bring back the schools that geoograhicaly make sense and I am fine with 16; even if it means having a few belt teams.

The refs handed this game to Louisville on a silver platter. From the jump ball call to the ridiculous double foul that kept Wichita from shooting free throws and made them lose the possession arrow. Which in turn gave Louisville the ball on that last possession.

Actually that info was passed onto me by a Duke grad at the time. He said that those seasons people were calling for coach K to be fired. It was just as stupid then as it was now. It is not matter no one takes use serious... we have fans like you. Of course I suppose that is why they are duke and we are UNT.

Well I am statistically out of it. Even if my bracket pans out and duke wins today "green and stuff" will still beat me by one... Other wise someone who has Louisville or Michigan will win it all.

Might as well go to 16 and at some point make some cuts when we need to make more moves. It might water the conference down but statistical it at least gives you better odds of having a strong team coming out of the conference.

The fact that he has only had one year here. One year... I do nt know many jobs that would release you after one unsuccessful year. I am talking about when you are in game chat. You are not sharing what will happen next. I have never heard you say what will happen 20 seconds down the line when the ball is brought up just based on where the players are. That is something that would be cool to discuss in the chat room with game that are viewable. I do think that Benford knows more about basketball then both you and I (maybe even combined). There is a reason that he is a head coach at the collegiate level and neither you nor I have that on our resume. That is like someone saying that they are better then a NBA player because that NBA player struggled in their first year. Where is the logic in that? If you knew more then him you would be coaching and he would most likely not even be an assistant coach. Those statements in themselves make me not want to trust you. I would never go as far to say as I know more then any head coach at just about any level.
