Seems like more of a LB/S to me. Not that fast for a RB. Based on his highlights, his level of competition was low. He's only 5-11 but he looked 6-4 in those videos. So that and the fact that it seems like he wants to play rb may have kept some people away. That and the fact he wasnt a rb until this season. Either way he looks like a good athlete, a good kid, and a good get.

I dont buy it, but if that were to happen then UNT football should just hang itself.

The other day I was informed (by a faculty member) that school officials are working toward dropping the university of north texas name and strictly going by UNT. My first response was, huh? I guess TCU has done the same thing. Everything would strictly say UNT and north texas would no longer be used on anything. My only thought was the football helmets. I dont really get the point, just thought it was interesting.

He would be immensly better than anything we have here and he could start. But I dont think he will consider UNT. Maybe we can get a qb when Fran replaces McCarney in 4 years.

I saw Derek Thompson yesterday and he was in a walking boot. He was kind of hobbling around but he seemed fine. It was a smaller boot so my guess is he has an ankle injury. I could never tell what he tweaked in the Indiana game.

UNT has to be perfect to have a shot in this game. Thompson has to continue to improve and hit open receivers. Cant have the turnovers or the lapses in focus anymore. They have to defend the run, and the deep ball better than they have all year. The coaches need a good game plan and have to be prepaired, no more issues like the indiana onside kick, or not being ready to challenge calls. Probably need a little luck too. Its going to be a tough one. Im happy we beat Indiana, a win is a win, but lets face it...that wasnt a very good team over there and they still almost came back. Tulsa will be head and shoulders above them so the mean green must be better. Im not ignoring the improvements we had in last game, just saying its going to take more.

What a bunch of old farts. If its too loud, youre too old. Make the stadium as loud as possible.

Not his play, his production. Which is not necessarily his fault. I guess a better way of putting it is im disapointed in our run game. Even though we had some good qb runs last night.

I really wanted to see Osborn. Thompson takes forever to make a decision, and he takes forever to get rid of the ball. Thompson also never looks off the coverage. His eyes are on his first passing option the entire time. He's not accurate either, we couldve had some big plays yesterday if the throws were in the right spot. I thought Mcnulty (makes me think of the Wire) looked great out there all things considered. Our offense (especially Lance) has been a disapointment. I did think the play calling was a lot better in this game though.

I think that grass lot by the softball field might be an option for you if you are there early enough and they allow your bus in there. I think only students could buy passes before gameday, but I think starting tomorrow anyone can park there. $10 for students, $20 for others until its full. I could be mistaken though. Let me see if I can find where I read that. I would call and double check in the morning.
