Geez calm down man. It's only being move out of denton for this year and it wasn't they mayor that made the decesion it was the city council along with the denton chamber of commerce. It was crowd controll issue. the delta lodge is still welcome to have it in denton just not at fry street anymore. national security is another reason they cant have it there anymore and that goes back to crowd control. the numbers of the fair grow every year and it's just to big now. im upset over it myself its a long time tradition but it had to be done.

I think I have asked this before but I lost the site I found that had the UNT Fight song ring tone. Does anybody know where I can get this? Oh I also wanted one of the North Texas window stickers that look like the scripting on the helment. I see these a lot and have checked every book store in town associated with UNT, and none of them have it. Anybody know where I can get it?

I'm mainly questioning the number of mean green fans present, I have been to some of the lesser watched sporting events such as womans soccer, baseball, and the roller hockey team and the number in attendance at those was very little so I just don't see how the attendance could be that high for this when most students don't even know the team exists.

350 eh!! Hmm I doubt it or at least they where not mean green fans, but our team kicks but! Apparently they are a high powred offense! They score tons of points!! I wish I had a chance to see them

Didn't get to see the ice hockey team but I went to see my friend Mike who plays on the roller hockey team. THey lost both games, but they are really pretty good and their golie is steller!! THe teams they played where dirty too, they injured two of our players, it was UTA and Tech.

OK what was up with the basketball game Saturday night. There where little kids everywhere!! I saw very few students, but tons of little kids running around all over the place! Was it family night or something or are these just alumnus kids or what? I'ts great we have butts in the seats but I was expecting a lot more students. It's only my second game this season and it is the most I have seen in the collusium but was just wondering where the heck the student butts are?

You are correct I know from a friend who works for the unt ticketers and said they had ticketed a lot of players, but you have to remember the players are students too! if they had a C permit or an R permit like they are subposed to they wouldn't be getting in trouble.

what a bummer! I was planning on going to but just ended up forgetting. My friends called me from the game at 7:30 wondering where I was and at that point we had a 13 point lead! It hurts me to hear we lost it.

DOH, Chris not Christ!! Well I had heard the whole reason for them honoring the former UNT team to make to the the NCAA tournament was because the think it may happen again this year. At least thats what my buddy Paul told me who used to work for the Atheletics department and still keeps in touch with them. Oh well it was nice to dream about it, but who knows maybe we will get lucky, maybe Christ will use Chris and play through him or something

I was quit impressed with the way the mens team played today. It was also noteworthy their ability to come back from the 11 point set back. A disappointement I have though is they where not playing smart ball towards the end after they came back. Christ kept trying to go for the 3 pointers when he should have been trying to get under the net. I think if the guys hadnt gone for so many 3's the game would have been in the bag. Another thing which was not the teams fault was the horrible Reffs. The calls where horrible, but then again adjusting to bad reffs is part of playing the game I Guess, but I plan on attending more games in the future. I was quit impressed I hope to see us go to the NCAA tournament this year.

I know coach Bells son! He always talks about how good of a Coach his dad is. Hopefully his words ring true and he helps our team out a lot. From the sounds of it though he is a great coach.

I am new to Mean Green Basketball, who can tell me what this season should look like? Are we expected to win much? From what I know the mens team did bad last year, any improvments for this year?

TO HOT???? Well every college game I have seen on TV when the camera goes to the band they all have there uniforms on. I'm sure they are hot too, but you don't see them stripping down!!! This may sounds stupid or silly, but UNT needs to improve its immage, and this is just one way to do that. Granted the summer is almost over next time you watch a televised game pay attention to the shots of the band, you won't see them with there uniforms off. Not one game can I recall the band had their uniforms removed.
