I was reading the Dallas Morning News app earlier today and they had an article on LT. Did you know he almost signed with UNT but decided not to because we had turf and TCU had grass? I am not too upset on this one. If he did not have a previous relationship with the Tech defensive coaches, it would sting a little more. I hope we get the 2 guys from Mississippi.

Jefferson High School in East Texas. Terry Johnson 1986 Purdue Kevin Smith 1986 Texas Bobby Williams 1994 Arkansas. Played pro on Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and Baltimore. Tim Duffie 1994- Texas Tech. Now DB coach for Oklahoma State. Montrae Holland 1996 Florida State. Also played pro for New Orleans, Denver, and Dallas. Anthony Johnson 2001- RB Texas. Now RB Coach Toledo Jarred Schumpert 2005 Southwest Baptist. He was the school's all time leading tackler. He recently passed away in a car accident. He received interest from a few pro teams, but didn't have aspirations to play pro ball. Glad I can say I played with this young man. Cordell Roberson 2009- SFA. He became their all time leading receptions leader in a few statistical categories. Played for Cleveland and Buffalo's practice squad.

At least he is serving our country and handled recruiting the correct way.

Not a surprise. The kid has been to multiple high schools. Why not continue this trend in recruiting?

I try not to bash recruits but grow a pair kid. If you don't want to play for UNT then at least be a man and decommitt. I wouldn't want a kid with so little character.

Gabe Brooks just tweeted that Cedar Park qb and 2014 NMSU signee is transfering to North Texas.

He just tweeted he got off the phone with his head coach (Mac). That's a good sign.

My BBA in Finance helped me get hired at a major corporate/investment bank. I was recently promoted to a management position. Now I manage Big 12 graduates. Well other schools too, just wanted to throw that in there.
