Okay, first off Texans should always be capitalized. Secondly, in this post you qualify BBQ as meat brushed with your family's secret sauce and "cooking on the grill until it's seared and thick and makes a mess when you eat it." Later you state "As for cooking it on the grill until it's seared--well, slow cooking over hickory/mesquite or similar smoke is the only way to do barbecue. If it ain't smoked, it ain't barbecue." You've got to make up you mind.

Denton County Hamburger on the Square Trail Dust Steakhouse about 10 miles east of town on 380. Ponder Steak House about 10 miles west of town. Frillies for good cajun. Metzler Bros. BBQ...head to Lindsay, about 30 minutes north of town, if you have time. Fouts Field tailgating BBQ Babe's Fried Chicken in Roanoke...about 15 minutes south of town.

Exactly. This is the uniform style that UA provides and I don't think a kelly green helmet would look good with this uniform. Other than the first few years of my life, all I have known is a green helmet for NT, so I'll have to get used to the white. Whatever it ends up being, I hope it stays that way for years except we need SOW on the helmet and not "North Texas."

Last time I fished there was in the early 90's, so I'm not sure if they have closed access now or what. You should be able to walk downstream, which is the Elm Fork of the Trinity and fish though. It is probably too late in the year now, but that has always been a pretty good place to fish during the early to mid spring when the fish start their spawn.
