I already cancelled my plans to make my annual Mean Green Road Trip XVI (Tuscaloosa) and I will only be purchasing one instead of four season tickets this year! Money is the only thing that will bring about answers and change......and if it kills the stadium...so be it......I enjoyed the D1-AA days...at least we were realistic about what we were.....We are the 50+ lady with a boob job and facelift....at the end of the day. We are what we are!!!!!!! I have enough caps, shirts, jackets and hoodies to last me awhile......The UNT History Dept will be the beneficary of my funds instead of this JOKE of a football program..... P.S. Many knew this was coming ever since the "Drug Test" back in Novemeber. Question is, if many on this board knew he was leaving, how could Dodge not know????? I have stated my Opionion on Dodge before...arrogant, stubborn and unwilling to admit he is wrong. History shows us that HS to college is too big of a jump for a coach (See Gerry Faust) I along with others where laughed off this board for suggesting Jim Harbaugh was the best choice for this gig.... That is the perfect scenario...but first i think we would need Boise St to jump ship and move to the MWC...if that happens this could be a real possibility. I think the real mistake of this University happened in the mid to late 90's during the old Big West Days. We needed leadership and guidence during the virgin 1-A days. UNT should have followed the lead of Boise St and Nevada. Instead we wallowed in the mire with Ark St and ULL..... Now we are stuck in a bad place........ "Give me WAC, or give me FCS"

This is the same old tired argument.... Utah would be a 9-3 or 8-4 type team in a BCS conference. They are a talented team, however playing and beating Bama with weeks to prepare is not the same as beating Bama and then having to turn around and travel to play LSU, then Tenn, then Georgia etc...... We all want a playoff, again however I think Alabama would have had a little extra zing in their step if it was a playoff game and not a consolation prize for being the SEC runner up. Great Season Utah, big wins over Mich, Oregon St, Alabama and TCU... but i think a Utah v. OU game would end up the same as the TCU v.OU game....

I think it is safe to say "Daddy Dodge" has put all of his coaching eggs in the basket of "Son of a Dodge"...... I expect to see great things......If the Dodge's are the ANSWER........next year will be the QUESTION. with 3 springs and 3 recruiting classes under his belt....2-3 wins is not acceptable...... 6-6 or bust

Rightfully so, I'll take Ohio St over the likes of Utah and Boise ST......at the end of the day the non-Bcs are what they are....we all know Boise v OU and Utah v Pitt....but give me OSU vs Bama or Texas v USC anyday over Utah Bama or Boise USC

I found web confirmation on Army and Ball State, but I cant find anything more than board chatter on the Alabama game. Is it set in stone, or just hear say??? Never too soon to start planning a road trip to BAMA.
