Welcome Wideout. Youre right there is no excuse for that type of action from a coach. I believe that he should be suspended for a game and then released at the end of the season. Not only because of this but many other things. How he has handled the offense and recruiting. DD will not be let go after this season, but RF will be, as a message to the rest of the staff and the players so that they know that this season was unacceptable.

With the way the season has gone so far, shoule DD and staff go after a higher number of recruits this year as compared to the past? Personally I think he should continue getting 3-5 each year. Juco is the best way to fill spots of immeadiate need. Although if you sign to many you don't have the youngsters to step up and fill those spots in the future. I don't know how many ships we have to offer this year, so I'll guess around 22. I say go ahead and sign 5 this year focusing on cornerback, as we lose both starters. And use the other 3-4 to fill in the line on both sides. We are fine at WR, TE, RB, LB, DB, and QB.

As far as next year we have: RB: J-MO, back-up Roberson FB: Henderson, ? TE: we have like 5 CB: no clue, somone will have to step up, I say go JUCO LB: more than fine OL and DL: ?????????? all around

Something should be done about this. He should be suspended for a game. There is no excuse for a coach going into the stands after a fan, especially a NT fan at a home game. Along with what he has done in recruiting lately. That worried me almost as much as his incident on Sat. There is a good chance he may be gone after the season. How about we bring in Major Applewhile as our new OC, I bet he can for sure get some major talent in here right away.

Don't forget about the loss of Thomas.

Silver- Have you been contacted by the university to get the facts about the case? If not are you planning on doing so, as there needs to be some form of punishment handed down. In my opinion he should be suspended for one game and then fired at the end of the season. Not just because of this one incident but because of his all around performence. This offense is the most bland thing that I have ever seen. For some reason we can't find a way to get PC and JT on the field at the same time. He has not done diddly in term of recruiting lately(according to previous posts) the lifeline of a team. And a coach is probably going to be have to be let go at the end of the season just to show everyone that this will not be accepted again.

I did not have a chance to watch the game and was only able to listen to a little more than a quarter of it on radio. So what were the positives from the game? It seems as though Meager had a decent game. And this may have been B. Jacksons breakout game. PC great game, was that all him or did the O-line actually do something?

Lifer, how do you know this? He lead his team to a state championship last year and is now 7-0 this year. But he is on a run oriented team. It all comes down to how much playing time he wants to get. Does he want to be the man to take NT to the next level or does he want to sit for several years while getting mop up duty and maybe, just maybe start his sr. yr. Or come to NT and be in the picture right away.

I think that our offense will actually do fine in this game, we just need our D to step up and stop the run. Put 8 men in the box and trust our corners.

On tues. night Jerry ran for 267 yds and 4 tds while leading his team to another victory. Once again his team threw the ball all of 6 times. Jerry is still leading the Houston area in scoring and in the top 10 in yds.
