Considering we had our 5 gals up against their men's B team, and we played 5 on 8 the whole game, UNT did a great job. Their refs, 3 point shooting, and rebounding is what did us in. Considering we were in the game for 3/4 of the game, I call it a moral victory. And tu is wayyyy overrated. I hate tu too. Its not because of who they are, or their tradition. Its cause their ego is bigger than the state, and 90% of their fans are F-ing lemmings. They only like tu because they are good.

Cuban, please bring back that logo and color scheme.

I just haven't seen that much from KJ, regardless of his attitude. I have seen too many pics this year, where he did not do everything he could to catch the ball, or keep the defender from making the pic. Im not saying that some of the pics weren't Vinny's fault, but I think more have been Johnson's fault. He has also dropped quite a few that he should have caught. Did anyone see the play where the Seahawk made the catch on the outside hook route, then get clobbered but hold the ball. Does anyone think KJ makes that catch? Side note, did anyone see the highlight from 3-4 weeks ago of the 49er reciever coming across the middle, but acutally duck his head when the ball cam to him?

Eagle since birth, is that a TMNT? On the KJ td, people can moan all they want, they can review it all they want. It was a touchdown. KJ was pushed out of bounds before he came down, and there was pass interference. The defender made contact, and did not turn to look at the ball. The Rice TD was a superstar call. There was contact on both sides.

Oh the KJ td, it could also have been called that KJ would have come down in bounds, but was pushed out. You also could have thrown the flag for dfensive pass intereference becuase there was contact, and Im pretty sure the defender did not look back to the ball. Whatever, Im just glad to see that Johnson finally earnd a paycheck.

Yeah, the Texas game. Heres my take on that. I went to a Family reunion in Kentucky that weekend. I set my cell phone up to recieve score updates. Unfortunately, I was in the Eastern Time Zone, so I was recieving score updates 1-2 hours LATE. I actually got the final one at like midnight. So, I got to have it rubbed in by my Texas fan cell phone. If that wasnt bad enough, 95% of the family is from the Huntington, WV area. That also happens to be where Marshall is located, so take a wild guess who they all root for. And they are die hard Marshall fans, like 2 times the fans we are, honestly. They were PISSED at losing to Troy by like 3 or whatever. My 80-something aunt who had season tickets until this year was pissed. I said relax, you guys lost by 3, my alma matter lost by 65. On the plus side, one of my uncles, a marine who served in Korea, gave me one of his 40-50 year old swagger sticks. Maybe I should have brought it with me to the baylor game.

The problem is that CUSA has taken a BIG step downward by hwo they are bringing in. Schools like SMU and Rice are no step up. I don't think we would do much losing in CUSA at this point. I don't think we will have to wait to see the day where 3 or 4 of the SBC schools could win, in CUSA.

I'll accept that, except next year, lets wait the extra 4 seconds until we have actually won the conference. Gee, maybe the rest of the student body will get to celebrate too.

UNTP, aren't you the same one who jumped on my case when I ASKED why you did not attend the ULM game until after you saw it on TV? You know what, I will agree, I would rather see us play UAB in the bowl game, but I will be there regardless of who we play. For you to not only sit at home and watch the game when you have the ability to go and support the team in person, but you come on this board and say as much, is pathetic. I hate to say it, but its the truth. I am not calling you a bad fan, but this is a bad decision. If it were work, school, money or a similar reason, I could understand. But not going based solely on who we are playing is wrong, and it goes against what we here at gomeangreen.com, the small diehard fan base we have, and the athletic department, are trying to do to improve the school, athletics, and the Denton community. I hope you change your mind and party with us in New Orleans.

The problem is that we are not gauranteed a good turnout. We have already seen evidence of people "choosing" not to attend. Do we have any clue on ticket sales? I know the hotels are getting booked.

Correct, they only had 2 weeks at most to promote it. Seriously, though, not going to a game because of who we are playing? Isn't that the problem we have with about 15+K of our average fans? Is this the same guy who jumped down my throat when I asked why they did not go to the Monroe game after haftime and after watching the first half on TV?

ICoach, was under the impression that you were glad the Mavs left the classic Green and Blue look? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. I can see the argument, that the old jerseys had served their time, but I think they should have stayed with the green and blue, and maybe doctored up the logo. We'll see on the boys jerseys, I'm just not a fan of the white helmets.

I don't like them. I do like the Green and Blue, which they never should have left. but those just dont look right. They may not be so bad except for the wierd script. Why do the Cowboys keep experimenting with an alternate jersey. Some teams should NEVER change their unis. Cowboys, Lakers, Yankees, Red Sox, Red Wings. Sometimes you can't make a uni any better.
