We are looking to acquire a DirectTV compatible satelite dish for our tailgate. We have a receiver just not an extra satelite dish for it. Anyone trying to get rid of one or know anyone who is?

In previous years didn't they send out an email or post something on MeanGreenSports.com about where the away game tailgate is? I was thinking about this the other day too.

I get into Ft Lauderdale at around 11:20 AM on Thursday, so I hope to be at the team hotel (Marriott Biscayne Bay) to check in around 12:30ish. That is assuming I can get my luggage and get down to Miami in an hour. MeanGreenScrappy and I will be catching a ride to the game with ParksandRecRick, but I don't know what time yet. I would be down to meet you guys for lunch depending on when and where you guys go. If not I say we meet back up at after the game at the team hotel bar or somewhere for drinks!

We could always substitute the forest for South Beach! I am sure that won't even be close to the weirdest thing people have ever done there.

My plan is to also wear Mean Green gear on Thursday and Friday. I will also be throwing in some Dallas Mavericks gear too throughout the trip.

I will be taking my talents and Mean Green apparel to South Beach on Friday September 2nd, hopefully with the rest of the Mean Green Nation who make the trip.

If you have not been to Love Shack yet, I suggest you go check it out. They have very good burgers and it has a pretty cool atmosphere too!

FIU, Tulsa, and maybe (hopefully) ULL! If you can make the trip to ULL, I highly recommend it! We went two years ago and it was a great time, they have a great tailgating scene and the fans were really nice!

Thanks! I was going to post this today actually. I checked yesterday and they were up online. Onto another very important subject! Has anyone nailed down any good sport to call the official meet up bar? There are so many options in Miami, it is hard to pick just one! I have some family down there and my uncle has a restaurant in North Miami Beach so I will ask him to see what he thinks are good places. But if anyone else has any suggestions let us know.

UNT will win then those of us who are making the trip to Miami will go out to celebrate, maybe something like the Mavs did when they beat the Heat! Who is with me?

Has anyone heard anything about buying tickets to the FIU game yet? I talked to the ticket office rep last week and she said she had not heard when they would be available.
