In fairness to the poll, that was last year's record and doesn't necessarily indicate their performance this year.
In fairness to your comment, they don't seem to have figured out the QB situation, there is no reason to believe that they have grown a ground game, and they have an almost totally new coaching staff with a 5-7 team from last year.
That said, what the flying F is UT doing in the top 25?
I think UT will be fine and will finish in the top 25. However, they may still finish third in conference behind OU and A&M.

It's the lighting, look at it towards the shaded part of the helmet - that is definitely our green.

We may need to sneak someone in to grab some pictures. If they are taken on the field then the construction camera may help.

How many turn to KNTU for sports updates? If so do you dictate your internet posts to your grandson?
I never listened to KNTU, watched NTTV or read the NTDaily looking for The Best content. Expecting reasonably competent and relevant content is pretty understandable but questioning the school curriculum to make sure you get your UNT sports news on the drive home is reaching.
Also, don't the vast majority of people prefer non-sports talk radio? Don't even quote me Ticket ratings either because a good chunk of their style is guy-talk. Furthermore, they hardly talk UNT sports either. KNTU is likely a fairly decent example of the kind of programming you'd get from volunteers who are involved in the music program.
Complete speculation here: wasn't that Green Guys show (both incarnations) self-started? Shouldn't you be directing your energy and encouragement to student who would like to continue doing a (likely horrible) sports show?
When I was at NT in the early 90's the only time I listened to KNTU was when I was turning the dial to some other station. The only time I watched NTTV is when I was dating a girl who was making videos for it. I read the NT Daily occasionally but after the Captain Amazing comic when away I have very little need of it.

Harry, great post and thanks for the review. I wanted to go so badly but had prior commitments. My wife did go to the Ladies Clinic and had a blast. She's a sports nerd (like me) so she soaked it all up.
I was down in Keller and had several conversations with people about the stadium. The cool thing was is that they brought it up. I simply mentioned that I was ready for college football and several said, "Ya, I really want to see that new stadium up in Denton." They didn't even know I was a UNT alum so that made me feel really excited. GO MEAN GREEN

My biggest grip with Vito is him wanting to nominate Dickey for sainthood. That is just an insane, stupid, indefensible position. Maybe he just does it just to stir things up but it's already old.

The as said to have 8 games with Belt teams during their transition in 2012. Checked their site and they they have a game @ North Texas listed.
