More uniform talk? We've got more uniform threads than Casey Anthony threads.
Well, at least we haven't started talking about helmet stick ... oh, no. What have I done?!?!?!?!!
-
Nope. They're still awful.

Buffalo does look pretty bad.

None of those schools mentioned play in FCS
Details ... details ...

I like it! Good job! You covered a lot in only ten minutes. I don't agree with your finaly predictions but that's ok. I think you should add a category of who has the best coaching staff.

Now that we have our brand-new spankin' stadium, which school now has the worst stadium above FCS? Idaho? Ball State? Oklahoma (how good can a stadium be if it's stuck in Norman OK)?

To the original question - why not both? BBQ Pancakes ... yum!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I downloaded about 18 of these pictures and I'm using them as my background slide show for my work computer. I'm pretty sure my productivity is about to drastically decrease.

The small board was showing that this "stadium is a non-smoking building", but the picture Friday afternoon was beautiful. I asked, when I was in the ath building, & was told the small board will be a stat board with the possibility of showing additional highlights during the game. The ath dept gets the keys to the stadium next Friday {;-) !
RV was talking behind closed doors with a prospective track coach (no name given) Friday afternoon.
Awesome post! RV gets the keys on Friday! Also, the rumored demise of the track program seem to be incorrect.

I'm sorry but the La. Tech president is right. Conference membership has to do with academics - not just athletics. The Sunbelt has some miserable qacademic institutions. UNT should not be associated with ULM, MTSU, or Troy. UNT must find a conference home that doesn't reflect badly on our university.
I was wondering about this. How does one judge the academic qualification of ULM, MTSU, or Troy? How does one quantify their supposedly "sub-standard" standing? I really interested to know.

I agree. This below is all done by the signals of the mascot.

Between this and "Cannonball", KSU fans have a fun time.

For what it's worth, I was also told that the pedestrian walkway across I35 had been funded and approved, and that the project would begin right after this season and be done for 2012. That one seems a little hard to believe, but that would be awesome.
That is hard to believe but would be terrific if it is true!

Actually they would have been better looking if he had ordered them from J.C. Penney.
How about this style? I'm very fond of the look.

I kinda like it but being green we would look just like Ohio U.

I like your test plan. Need a programmer analyst with 5 years of mainframe experience?
No but we may need a fourth. So if you're in the Richmond area this fall ...

A little before 2:00 PM, today, the stadium webcam showed testing of the small video board. I can't wait for opening day.

I think they're playing Halo.
Speaking of which ... I'm the project manager for my organization's new building which will be completed in September. We're putting in $65k worth of AV equipment in our main conference room. The IT and the Media guys testing plans will include using an XBox 360 and a PS3. Did I mention that I'm also the Director of IT?

He looks like he could do some damage.
He still looks like he could do some damage.

Why is "Texas" smaller than "North"?
Never noticed it before, but it caught my eye this time. It's like they ran out of the right sized letters and had to use the next biggest ones they could find.
After looking at it more I guess they actually are the same size, but the "Texas" is more scrunched together.
I agree that it appears "Texas" has letters that flow into one another while "North" doesn't.

What Barry Switzer used to say about option: "If it's blocked perfectly, the man with the ball only has the Monster Man (safety or inside lb, depending on the defense) to beat on the way to the end zone."
Honestly, it was a nice run but not much of a block by the fullback on the second clip. He just kinda got in the way. Effective, but anyone could make that block.

I was wondering the same thing. If it's not grades related, and he can solve his behavior and apologize to the team, could he be brought back?
For the school to pull his scholorship I think it will take a lot more than an apology to the team. If he really wants to come back it will be a long hill to climb.

The day OU hired John Blake as HC was a great day for Sooner haters.

So far the Coog fans have been rather friendly in that thread.

Incoming Freshman will ALL, to my knowledge, be attending the next summer session. I believe this will allow them to start working out as part of the summer program and get almost a month of conditioning under their belt before two-a-days start.
This is great! Besides the extra conditioning they can get accustomed to campus and college classes - maybe be able to take a bit of a lighter load that first semester.
-
Anyone know if this might be grade-related? At the Plano Caravan, McCarney mentioned that there were 40 when he arrived with GPAs of less than 2.0, but that 37 had pulled there grades up in the spring. He said the other three were awaiting grades. Maybe this is one of the other three.
Really? 40 below 2.0??? No wonder McCarney talked about how bad things were grade wise. You may be right that the upheaval during the football season allowed guys to slip in the classroom.
If it is grades then hopefully Carey can straighten things out and come back next season.

He had offers from all four time zones.

Considering that we haven't heard anything yet I'd assume we won't have a deal this year.
