  1. Anybody been to a game at Tulsa? I heard somewhere that their stadium has little or no parking so you have to park on the streets. Any tailgating planned? I couldn't find anything on the website.

  2. Welcome Green Crazy! You are right by us in sec D Row 12 seats 29, 30, 31,32. This is our second

season there. We were in sec M on the student side before they made us move. Look forward to seeing you Saturday. Hope you like to holler cause we do!

  3. One grown daughter, also an NT alumna (May '05). An only child, and now wowing them at her new job. I'm hoping for grandkids someday who will, of course, be raised Mean Green! We also have a 14 year old niece in Oklahomo who'd like to attend NT. She's been provided with several North Texas t-shirts and sweatshirts that make her stand out from all her OU wearing classmates!

  4. LongJim, I attended AHS two years (it was grades 10-12 back then-no 9th), but I was forced to move to Irving the summer before my Senior year. But, I am, and always will be, an Abilene Eagle! Beat Cooper!

I also attended Football 101 and yes, as we all know, the Mighty Quinn is deservedly a big deal. Be jealous Quoner! Johnny sat down by me before all the presentations and we talked for about 15 minutes! His mother can be justifiably proud of her son. He is an outstanding young man. He also was proud to show me his class ring (he will be graduating in December).

Yes, it did deteriorate somewhat, but I did learn some more good info about making adjustments and who picks up who. I had a great time and was very impressed with the twenty or so players who attended. The football fashion show was great! It was also interesting to hear a rundown on what the players and coaches do on gameday. I plan on going again next year (and probably every time they have it!).

A women, liberal arts major, and high on gender equity issues does not bode well for her being a promoter of UNT Athletics.

Excuse me, but that is a good description of my daughter and myself, and no doubt many other female NT faithful. No one can say that we don't love and promote the Mean Green! Please don't prejudge using antiquated gender stereotypes. Only time will tell.
