We win. You lose. It's as simple as that. 17,800 attendance.

Rick, you made me cry. See you Saturday.

It could have been 33-0.

At least the offense was able to show more than at Tulsa.

I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I would have rather seen him put Phillips in.

Also lots of green in lower sec. D. I think part of the problem is that there isn't any alumni stuff in the new colors (specifically t-shirts). I've been waiting for something to come out since they changed the logos.

Jason, we are RIGHT behind you in seats 25 & 26. Hope I don't bump you too much jumping up and down! I was just worried we would be the only two in green in a sea of Tulsa folk! See you tomorrow.

Picked up our tickets yesterday and they are sec Q, row 5 which is right behind our bench. I thought their away team sat in secs U & T (according to Tulsa's map of Skelly Stadium). Where are your tickets?
See you there!

Husband and I are going. It's closer to a 5 hour trip (well, depending on how you drive). Husband is an Okie and we lived in Okmulgee for a couple of years while he went to school.

I didn't see any tortillas on the Alumni side. Did this guy go to the game?

Anybody been to a game at Tulsa? I heard somewhere that their stadium has little or no parking so you have to park on the streets. Any tailgating planned? I couldn't find anything on the website.

Welcome Green Crazy! You are right by us in sec D Row 12 seats 29, 30, 31,32. This is our second
season there. We were in sec M on the student side before they made us move. Look forward to seeing you Saturday. Hope you like to holler cause we do!

Myself, daughter and husband coming up from Euless. Can't leave until 4:30 or 5, daughter has to work. Should be there in sec. D for kickoff. Thank God for MGC green lot parking!

We stand behind you no matter what! Can't be there Saturday, but we'll be cheering you on. I know you all will do your best, and the Mom in me has to say "be careful out there boys."

54, B.A. in '74. Daughter is 25, B.A. in '05. Dad is 54, didn't attend NT, but we met in front of Willis Llibrary when he came down from OK to party with a mutual friend. (Yes, I married an Okie!)

One grown daughter, also an NT alumna (May '05). An only child, and now wowing them at her new job. I'm hoping for grandkids someday who will, of course, be raised Mean Green! We also have a 14 year old niece in Oklahomo who'd like to attend NT. She's been provided with several North Texas t-shirts and sweatshirts that make her stand out from all her OU wearing classmates!

LongJim, I attended AHS two years (it was grades 10-12 back then-no 9th), but I was forced to move to Irving the summer before my Senior year. But, I am, and always will be, an Abilene Eagle! Beat Cooper!
I also attended Football 101 and yes, as we all know, the Mighty Quinn is deservedly a big deal. Be jealous Quoner! Johnny sat down by me before all the presentations and we talked for about 15 minutes! His mother can be justifiably proud of her son. He is an outstanding young man. He also was proud to show me his class ring (he will be graduating in December).
Yes, it did deteriorate somewhat, but I did learn some more good info about making adjustments and who picks up who. I had a great time and was very impressed with the twenty or so players who attended. The football fashion show was great! It was also interesting to hear a rundown on what the players and coaches do on gameday. I plan on going again next year (and probably every time they have it!).

LongJim, Abilene or Cooper fan?
Also, I'll be attending Football 101 and would love to meet some newbies to football. I grew up in West Texas, where football is in the blood, regardless of gender.

I'd like to get a couple at the Cookout if you still have some.

Anybody have any more info on the August 5th (Mean Green Kickoff) event? Specifically the time. I only work two Saturdays all summer and that's one of them!

A women, liberal arts major, and high on gender equity issues does not bode well for her being a promoter of UNT Athletics.
Excuse me, but that is a good description of my daughter and myself, and no doubt many other female NT faithful. No one can say that we don't love and promote the Mean Green! Please don't prejudge using antiquated gender stereotypes. Only time will tell.

Roll call and how many are you bringing ?
