punter Truman Spencer, our adopted player, showed a lot of ability for a Freshman. He will only get better with experience. Also, liked the Green Brigade's new look. I thought they sounded absolutely fantastic last night! You hear them so much better from the Alumni side.

Section D, R 12, seats 30, 31, 32. Right across the aisle from E. Couldn't get 3 seats on the end in E, so went for next best thing. I'll miss Sec. M. This will be a whole new view of the game for us. See you there.

I'm coming up to Denton in the morning and won't have much time to look, so where should I go for new t-shirts, NT Bookstore or Voertman's? I have a new logo shirt I bought the day it was introduced, but I'm specifically looking for a new alumni shirt. Any suggestions?

We really must have the right mojo when it comes to MUTS. Their coach looked like he was about to get sick. I did feel a little sorry for the players. They thought for awhile that they were finally gonna' pull off a win over NT.

The assistant equipment manager said they had to go ahead and order the uniforms before the color decision was final. He said we would have the new brighter green uniforms next year. I thought the helmets were OK. I would like to see the North Texas with a heavier, or thicker version of the font though.

I'd like to see it in Shreveport or Houston. Those are day trips, so we might be able to go. I'll have to work the next day. I've just started full-time, so I don't get any vacation for a year. I might be able to swing one day. Any chance they could change the date to the weekend? I guess it's too soon to say.

My grandmother lives about 80 miles this side of Nashville and it takes about 10 hours to drive there from the mid-cities including the occasional bathroom stop. Tennesse has some of the most beautiful country in the U.S. (Yes, I was born there!) The humidity is pretty bad, though. Also watch your speed on I-40 between Memphis and Nashville. The state troopers don't give any leeway. Wish I could go. Have fun!

All I was trying to do was support a player's performance and comment that I enjoyed the band, even though the game was the most disappointing I've seen in years. No ulterior motives! So if you want to puke, go ahead, it won't bother me.
