But...hey you're going to tell us all how it isn't that bad a deal because they were a top-25 team, and we fought hard... I have not posted in a long time, but after driving my butt up to SMU and seeing what I saw on the field at QB, I have come to the conclusion the Mac needs to fired. Being here for four years without finding a QB is a Fireable offense, and due to this, we are going to have to sit through another miserable season. Due to that fact, this program will be set back another season, one in which optimism is high, but will leave these fans that rocked Ford Field with another poor taste in their mouths. This program will not grow into anything with us as the only real fans. We have to have fringe fans get involved, and we won't when we continue to kick them in the nuts. I seriously feel like mailing my season tickets back. I've been with the team since 1999, and watching that QB play last night, after this coach has been here for 4 years, has got me at my lowest point of following the Mean Green. Rant over

Is Smith a midterm guy? I didn't hear him mentioned as one of the recruits who are already enrolled on campus. I thought he was going to participate in spring practice

You have to judge by the top teams, each conference has bottom feeders. It would be ridiculous to judge a conference by how bad their bad teams are...

I know there has been a lot of talk about some of the teams C-USA has invited in, but our bowl record right now looks pretty good. We didn't rank very high as a conference in he preseason, but I wonder where we land in the 2015 preseason rankings as a conference. Watch out for some of he newbies too...especially ODU. Btw...also wouldn't mind taking in ULL

Recruits see this stuff on every team's message board who has a 4-7 record. It's not just our board

In another thread someone posted about Dajon having some negative tweets about either his future w/ the program, or the program itself. I went through his tweets to find offense, but couldn't find anything that was disparaging... Could someone help me out with the uproar? Are people reading too much into something, or am I being oblivious???

I just went through Dajon's tweets, and would like to know what tweet is pissing people off? There are definitely some you could read something into if you were really trying, but I didn't see anything disparaging towards NT or the program. Saw some positive posts about the program...nothing I would say that was directly negative toward the program, or anything negative about his future with the program

MiniMac is the biggest waste of snaps in the history of man kind. Mac will rotate defenders in and out like mad to develop players, but giving a redshirt freshman QB some meaningful snaps just sounds insane to the man! I just don't get it anymore!

RS Freshman Benched QB - 59.7% Completion, 7TDs, 4 INTs Jr Starting QB - 55% Completion, 5 TDs, 7 INTs One happens to be extremely mobile Why in the hell do we keep running MiniMac out there? The only throw he can routinely make is that pass out to the flat, or the WR screen, after that it's an adventure. We can barely beat the bad teams, but any team half way decent is going yo stop our run game and force Mini to beat them, and he CANT! The refusal to take this time to develop Dajon in what is clearly a rebuilding year. There is no reason McNulty should be seeing any snaps. RIDICULOUS

I don't see how people can cast off a RS freshman w/ 3 starts because he threw some picks. There is a transition time to be expected when breaking in a young QB. Ask So.Miss., they stuck w/ their QB last season while he struggled, and look how much better he is this year. ALSO notice, he is still making a few mistakes. It isn't a 1-2 game process. It takes some time

A game manager approach only works if your defense can kick someone's ass! Ours cannot. THEREFORE, you have to be able to win a shoutout. Anyone can tell you McNulty isn't going to do that. Is Dajon going to make some mistakes? HELL YES! Is he going to make explosive plays throughout the game. HELL YES! How is he going to learn from his mistakes and get better? BY BEING ON THE DAMN FIELD! Coaches admit he is the most talented of the bunch...well coach his ass up and get him going!!! 1) McNulty did put up some decent numbers, but his actual QB play was not that great. The big gainers he hit, that accounted for the majority of his yardage, were underthrown passes WRs made plays on, busted coverages, or a CB falling down. 2) McNulty is not good at throwing accurate passes past about 8yds consistently 3) Yes, he didn't turn it over (could have 3 times) but he evokes ZERO worry to defenses, they are still going to line up to stop the run and make him beat them, which I still say he can't do against a half way decent team. These damn coaches better figure out if Williams is the guy. It is OBVIOUS McNulty is not the future. My rant is over at this...what is the benefit of winning 4 games instead of 2 with McNulty, over losing out and being damn positive of what you have with Dajon? Can someone please answer this question for me?

The man won 9 games last year and provided an opportunity for almost 40k fans to pack the Cotton Bowl for a Bowl victory. Let's tap the breaks on firing Mac, or calling it a bad hire!

...he'll never get him back. At the tend of he day, this is a RS Freshman who was trying to do too much to bail his team out of a hole he knew he dug. Mini-Mac is not the future...no need in him playing... We know what we have with Greer...a HUGE bag of nothing Dajon is the only QB on the roster who has the possibility to be the future...you HAVE to see what he's got. Can he make the adjustments to get better from this. Is he mentally tough to be THE GUY? We have to find out. The issue as a whole is bigger than just Dajon...play the kid and see if he is the guy!
