I dont think a game against Houston was a good time to start trying new QBs... We didnt look awful in the first half.. wish we could know who our leader is going to be. Anyone have insight?

Just with all this crazy Nike Pro Combat stuff going on... what are the chances of the boys coming out with some crazy new uni for the home opener in the new stadium? Wouldnt that be an interesting surprise...

I agree... this could be a bad move here. remember, kids go to these games. you can still totally own a visiting teams bench without getting tasteless.

Ok, Ive decided to come out of hiding after monitoring this thread for awhile... 1) You have to be very tactful when heckling at a womans game... but it can be done! 2) Nothing will ever top when the police warned me (after a visiting team player complained) that if I continued to heckle the players that he would arrest me for starting a riot... so, i tore into the coaches! 3) Even though we ended up loosing the game... you cant beat the trip to TCU when we covered their commons with NT posters and went into their gym and took their spirit groups banner... sorry, didnt mean to stroll down memory lane there. also, tiki is resting well in his hyperbaric chamber next to ted williams head. yes, he is retired... i would like to see a new tiki and would even meet up with the new pit crew guys and show them some old school style!

wait... i dont think you guys get this. it isnt an opinion poll. its DEFENSE ranking. we gave up more yards than anyone in all of division one. so, i dont know... i might just care a little. hope we start to climb up from dead last in the weeks to come!

seems like lots of teams are going back to the white helmets.... the chargers went white in the nfl. we did. and didnt new mexico state go white when they changed unis? seems to be the new thing to do. arent we just such trend setters! GMG!!!

i was looking through some of the pics they had on there. and it said "rookie" running back patrick cobbs.... is he still considered a rookie even though he has nfl experiance but never made a roster last year? just curious... GMG!!!

this is a huge opportunity... being a #2 back on a NFL team is great! dont downplay this. ronnie brown is an incredible running back. any playing time will be great for cobbs. a big step up from where he was last year. go p cobbs!!!

i would be betting we will have a few options on unis. i bet there will be an all white, green top black pants, maybe even an all green.... i think there will be some alternates for sure. also, i think it will be kinda funny looking that we will have these cutting edge new unis and be playing in a dumpy stadium

you know... when i saw this thread i got a little excited, but now that i have read 5 pages of it i am a little dissapointed. i was hoping this was going to be another helmet thread. but sadly, i have only seen what... two renderings of what the unis should be? c'mon we have a couple of artful ppl on this board, lets see what you can come up with as far as a new uni! im not artist, so i have nothing to offer. i do like however to see what ppl come up with as ideas. lets see what you got ppl!!

as i remember from years past... during a game, they dont show the whole thing, they switch back and forth between games that are going on. personally, id like to be able to watch the whole game. is there a tv package you can order, where you can watch whichever game you choose? if so... if you are the person who is ordering it, lemme know... im coming to your house!!!

a problem i have with going to white helmets is that it, to me, will look like we are just becoming southlake carrol north campus. lets still keep some of our OWN identity.

yeah... i understand that everyone is gonna miss the tomato, but fry street is a dump, hands down. why would you want to save it? and keeping the local flavor is no excuse for being trashy and run down. i think we should applaud anyone wanting to make a change for the better around our campus. that whole area is an eye sore. this upgrade will definitely make going to UNT a lot more attractive to future students.

yeah... keep gettin after guys. i hear you all are doing great. but be smart. its easy to cuss or yell "you suck" but get creative, show ppl that you are willing to go that extra mile to make opposing teams feel absolutely unwelcome at the super pit. anyone remember the hand puppets????
