Schutza has had his chance a few times to make a catch this season....last night and he also dropped one and in the FIU game. Taylor has had to many drops to count this year. We have have 2 X Qbs (Baine) who started twice for us at QB last year and Teegarden who was also a dual threat QB getting 0 reps at the WR postion. We know Baine has the speed to play the slot and Im sure both he and Teegarden have the hands to make the catches. Ex Qbs on the field has to be a plus for Thompson when he knows he can go to one of his X film room (buddies).

Why is our new WR coach not giving our two running QBS Baine and Teegarden any reps since being move to WR over the summer? Baine started 2 games at QB last year and it looked like Teegarden had a good spring. I watched 3 drops last week against FIU and Thompson upset at wrong routes . Ex QBs know the "O" better than anyone so I would think the wrong route runing would not be a problem. I know Im just a (Arm Chair Coach) but having a starting QB (Baine) as a threat to throw the ball on some type of trick play would be a plus for Coach Chico.

Agree Coach Mac and Chico have a 5th year running QB on the roster. Chase Baine showed that he has some wheels when he started two games last year. (80 yards against ARK St). I thought he was moved to the slot to get (Chase Tebow) some reps... yet he is just being used on special teams. At least Breece Johnson if finally getting some reps.

Hey some good stuff here. One thing before you call out one of our players for a drop pass #17 Breece Johnson ( that did not happened) you might want to make sure of it before you type it. Breece had one pass thrown his way for 7rds. The 3 passes that were big drops were from the inside slot not the out side WR. We had one drop from TE but it was raining pretty hard at the time. Mayby you confused the drop pass from the 2nd team slot>>>the player that replaced the slot that had 3 drops. Glad you were at the game and glad you had a good "Dog", but if you going call out a player make sure you have the right NUMBER !

If you fly out Wed Aug 31st and come back Sat the 2nd . 164.00 round trip is cheap.

I think Coach "Mac" is pulling for Baine to make an impact. The move from QB to WR should have been done 2 years ago. I think Coach Dodge wasted his talents keeping him as the emergency QB. If Baine gets some reps at WR he will be Thompsons "go to guy" when a first down is a must this year. Dunbar has got to be pulling for him also. Baines size at the slot will help block the LBs and DBs making it easier for Lance to burst to outside. See ya in Miami !!

I believe we will hear this phrase alot this fall " Thompson to Baine for another firstdown !" Remember he walked on as a WR first before Coach Dodge moved him backed to QB. I hope the young man finally gets some "Scholly" help this year. I think he showed us all hes got some wheels and can take a hit !!

I along with about 75 other fans were at the WKU game. I was impressed with Coach "C" from the warm ups till the game was over. His reaction to us the fans in the stands was "Priceless" and I wish that was caught on tape as well. It was a good moment. Coach C was involved in everyplay of the game Saturday. He cheered and coached the D when needed. He still called plays but was in the game at all times. Great example... calling a time out with 6 seconds to go in the half to force WKU to punt. We could of just went in up by a TD and thats what WKU thought ....they were pissed he forced them to punt but anything can happen when you force the other team to punt out of their own endzone. He called a good time out when our "O" looked confused going to the wildcat. That time out took a possible mistake out of the hands of the guys before it could happned on their 3 yrd line . We scored the next play. It was great game to watch and I hope the team and Coach "C" can make it happned again for the home crowd this weekend. The players seemed to really like Canales and it really showed this game. GMG

mmmmm lets see because Riley never gained more than 2 yards in the wildcat and Dunbar has not produced at that spot either. The wildcat must gain atleast 5 yards for it to work . Baine has the legs and the speed to get the 5 and more (mayby a pass from the wildcat). I hope for our sake the line can pick up the blitz and stop the D ends from chasing the QB out of the pocket on every single play. For the teams sake you better play them both cause " TROY, Middle, and KSTATE are going to bring the house on everyplay from the zone read to the simple 5 yard out and thats alot of punishment for any one QB to take. heck the article Vito did on Baine stated his nickname by his teammates is "CHASE TEBOW"..that tells me something and after seeing him run the past 2 games I agree !

RDodge to throw. We will need them both the rest of year since the line is giving all the have to pick up the Blitz on everyplay. Baine is in to run...wait no he just threw it down the field !! RDodge is in to pass.... wait no he just ran for 30 yards!!! Let the fun begin for the next 5 games.

I say lets play them both. Mayby Coach C can come up with a plan to use both Dodge and Baine. Baine showed many that he can run the ball ....Lets put him in the Wildcat or the pistol. Its time to throw it all out there next week. With the big "THREE" comming up Troy,Middle and KState playing them both will increase our chances at QB since it does not matter whos back there because both will be running for their lives !!

Its pretty freakin hard to air it out when Baine is running for his life on every pass play because we have not picked up the blitz for 2 weeks !! Thank the football gods he has speed to make something happened or we would of had more than just 3 sacks tonight. Coach "C" must roll him out more if this is what the "O" line is going to give him for protection.

This is great win !!! The whole mean green team worked hard this week . From the scout team all the way to the game tonight every part of this team had a hand in this win !!! GMG !!

I feel you start Riley. Let Chase get ready working with first and second "O" during practice this week......but I still put him in the game against FAU to can get some reps (we still have alot of football left) if he provides a spark leave him in there.

Baine was offerd schollys from navy,airforce, bufflo...at the qb postion....our on coach peterson recuited him to play qb at air force.

Dear Mr. Brett " Super Athlete" Vito I"m calling you out bro !!! I believe both Thompson and Baine can lead this team. We have 2 very good QBs ready to Go !!!
