head coach gives coordinators the ability to draw up the game plan, if head coach does not like it has to be redone. apparently Mac has not took a liking to Chico's high energy approach. the last half of last year was pretty exciting football so i conclude it is the head coach that for whatever reason prefers to hope we can be competitive and hope for a break at the end to win. i do not like this approach

Coach Mac, As weak as the Belt is this year PLEASE do the right thing and ........... no more experiments. Looking at the schedule we could have 3 gimmes and only need to win one of the Troy, LaLa and ArkSt games and WE WILL be bowl eligible at 6-6. I know nothing is a gimme for this team, but we are 92 on CBS120, who woulda thought that huh? Just let Chico do his thing and let the D do their thing and we just might have a chance. These upperclassmen have been thru so much a bowl game would be an awesome achievement that i never thought possible to start the season.

happens all the time, 40 + point spreads are very rare to win outright but it happens, Vegas is all perception does not mean no chance. We would have had to play perfect but definetly winnable did not say we would win,,,, there is a difference. study your point spreads holmes, and you will see 20 point dogs win quite often.

well, if the kid was an obvious talent i would give him the nod but he is not ready and any "EXPERIENCED HC" would have seen that and not sacraficed a winnable game just so he could experiment with a project...... and i would not thrown chico in with that decision, you can see it all over his face he is as frustrated as anyone with some of this decision making......

WOW.... thats not the point. he just needs to admit it was stupid to stick with mcnulty so long, or even start him for that matter. AND not take the easy way out and lessen Osborns accomplishment. Mcnulty was not ready and he basically told the upper classmen he did not care if we lost.

really, did he really say that the only reason Osborn did well was because he played against the back ups. i don't think i have ever heard a coach call out the success of a player simply to make sure his decision is not seen as a bad one. I am really starting to doubt this man is the answer. CHICO was teh answer now he is simply having his strings pulled by a coach that is forcing Mcnulty into the starting line up. Hope he learns quick and can do it, because like it or not he will be our starting QB for the next 4 years

who cares about the win, but this video shows me he does have the IT factor and knows how to communicate and motivate. if he has the ability and knowledge to do the rest then we just might have our guy right in front of our face!

I think dodge may have a great football mind, but his ability to judge talent is what really did him in. How do these so called new high profile coaches come in and win with the same talent from the very 1st day they walk on campus?? they know how to get the most from what they have and build from it........... How many kids do we have on this team that are playing the wrong position and therefore not helping the team win now. How many kids have never gotten a chance that could help? Riley Dodge is a slot receiver, should have never been thought of as anything else. How many other examples are there?? Gary Patterson recruits big physical running backs and turns them into the top defense in the nation year in and year out. What have we done? what we have done is absolutely nothing and it is time for a change.

i voted bain, if riley were healthy he would be the man i would go to, but he is not and the rest of his career is in jeopardy. bain is a heady playmaker that just might surprise everyone and bring back thoughts of glory (if he will hand the darn ball to dunbar and throw it deep to stradford).

as i have stated before baine will never get a shot and i don't understand why. he may be terrible at this level but give him a try........riley is not the answer

and Baine ran for nearly 3000 yards as a spread QB in 4A football for Lake Dallas, at least worth a shot to see what he can do on the field WHEREEVER, not necessarily at QB
