Crowd projected at 1500. It’s too early. Win and crowds will show up. Remember this is Dallas must play meaningful games at the right time. Win anyway Mean Green!!!!!

We need about 3% of our alumni and students within an hour to sell out the super pit. Once you let that fact sink in there aren’t enough excuses in the world.

Reading different things. I think it's gonna be ESPN+ though.
ESPN app says it’s in the U.

First meeting since 2010 (I weirdly don’t remember that, specifically). We lead the all-time series 59-28.

Time for the Pit Crew 2.0 to show what they are worth. The student turnout in Frisco was atrocious.

Where can we find the bracket?
I wish the mens NIT would do 64 teams…
Tomorrow. They only announce teams today.

This bracket is…a little different than the CBI. Lol.

I'm calling a three seed. Anything below a three would be disrespectful. Hoping for a two.
I’d be a little frustrated with a 3 seed, Notwithstanding our late season implosion.

I hope they're in some post-season tournament. They certainly deserve it.
If nothing else, the WBI that they've previously participated in. Women's Basketball Invitational
I don’t THINK we get in the WNIT, but we may not be terribly far off of it. Definitely a possibility. Been about 20 years since the last appearance there.

Still don't get any respect even in NIT.
Kinda used to it. We are going to have to earn it.
Premature. If we end up with a 2 seed I would call that respect.

Where is Texas AM? I would assume they would knock us out of the 2 seed.
This hasn’t been updated. Rutgers is in the NCAA. So TAMU would take their spot on the 1 line.

Has anyone considered that the reason we aren’t in the tourney is because WE lost to two 100+ NET teams in the final week of the season?

I’d say there is a good chance SMU is a 1 seed and we are a 2. Can’t imagine they’d put us in deferent brackets. Would set up a heck of a game at Moody if both teams take care of business.

I don’t think we get in, but you never know. We are in the conversation and have the win over Purdue last year in recent memory. At the very least we should be set up well to make a deep run in the NIT. A potential matchup with SMU for a trip to MSG is tasty.

We seem to be getting some love from the under the radar bracket guys with good track records. Another one of those guys has us in 1st four out which would be an NIT 1 seed. I’m absolutely NOT getting my hopes up. I have to think even with our good metrics the committee looks at the last week and says no thanks.

Would a La Tech win tonight over UAB help our case at all for NCAA Tourney?
Or are we probably out regardless of score tonight?
I think we are probably out when all is said and done. But agonizingly, I think it’s a situation where if any single one of our losses was a win we would be in.

This is from one of the higher ranked bracket guys. Every time I try to embed it doesn’t work so we will see if this does.

We ultimately ended up with one too many losses.

The champions list from the NIT is not even remotely on the same level as the CBI and CIT. For all we know we’d have made the sweet 16 in the NCAA, but we are where we are. If we could somehow make it to MSG or win the thing it would be probably be the biggest accomplishment in program history.
One more thought. The vast majority of champions are from the traditional power conferences. As far as current conference affiliation the last time a champion was not from the power conferences plus the American and A-10 was 1987.
