Wow, dude..awesome response. I can't speak for all NT fans by any means, but I find trash talking BY anyone seriously dumb. I never talk trash...IMHO it's one of the dumber things anyone can partake in. And yes, it DOES annoy me when our fans do the same.

Amen to that. I would give nearly anything to be on Bourbon right now just yelling GO EAGLES and other nonsense like I did last year. It surely is lonely HERE right now. Of course it's usually somewhat lonely in the basketball forums. But hopefully after the NO Bowl everyone will migrate over here. The squads deservee everyone's support. Of course I'm aware that alot of the MG nation aren't big basketball fans. I don't know what their deal is.

That makes us 4-3 so far. Our next game versus Tennessee Tech I percieve as winnable, then we have a tough game versus Colorado. After that the squad has Christmas holidays...

A hard fought game till the final minute(68-64 final), where the Stangs just had too big of a lead. Nice effort by Slinker's squad, but this has gotta sting(we fall to 4-4 on the young season). The ladies have had some tough defeats, but it'll make them tough for conference season. PLUS we DO play 6 freshman and hardly any upperclassmen. By the end of the year we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention next season.

Yeah, I wish I was in the Big Easy too.

I look for a solid effort tonight. SMU doesn't play the kind of 'D' that Indiana did. There's NO way we'll shoot 21% from the floor.

I figure most of the fans that are stuck in Denton will go to the men's game over the women's game but I figured I'd ask. Typical classy respose by a Mustang.

You can really tell the vast majority of our posters are gone. All the boards are beyond slow.

Yeah kinda sucks that he must have thought of US as a junior colllege. That's how he treated us at least. Nonetheless I wish him the best. UT has a helluva team this season.

How would you grade both the Men's and Women's squads so far. I'd give them both solid B's.

Now we just have to prep for Monday. Hopefully some folks who AREN'T going to the Bowl will support the guys. I expect the crowd to be only a few hundred though.

I'm not sure if Indiana is rebuilding or not. But if they returned most of their squad...AND you're that confident we would've beaten them last year, how the hell did we not make the NCAA? I'm being serious, I'm not trying to incite you Aaron. My conclusion is they must be starting over too. Slinker in her post game interview stressed the team is young, and Indiana played solid D, BUT there was no excuse for shooting 21% from the floor. Indian IS the defending Big 10 conference champs though. They are no slouch that we lost to this evening.

It was a hard fought game, but we could never get over the hump. The Hoosiers seemed to be in control throughout the night even though it was back and forth. Most of the game was within a few points..but Indiana put it away near the end 51-42, This one breaks a nice long home winning streak(15) by the girls. Man this sucks.

I would think it would have to be 3 stories(or more) to fit 300 beds.
