Any prediction that has FAU in Boca you can just throw away. The only scenario where FAU plays in Boca could possibly be an FAU v USF matchup. Otherwise we will not be selecting Boca.

Don't worry, if we win, we probably will not be picking the HOD bowl. St. Petersburg may be a top choice due to the alumni cluster in the area. But a P5 opponent may be the top choice, Independence Bowl.

Actually FAU received 2 votes in the AP, they made a mistake and listed Florida (UF doesn't deserve any votes this year).

I don't know about stagnant: 42, 30, (against best rated defense in league), 48, 52, 31 = 203 (40.6 per game). In that period UNT has scored 196 (39.2 per game). UNC-C was sloppy on the road the week after the Shula Bowl and a week before the CCG. Actually looks like we both had similar games before the CCG.

Sorry about that! Another point leaving for UCF makes no sense for 1. Not being a big enough step up, he can replicate UCF in Boca. 2. It plays into his rep of 1 and done if he moves to Orlando. He's either in Boca for 2 to 4 years or he moves to a good P5 job. I don't see a good power 5 job this year left for him.

You guys have a lot of opinions on Kiffin, here's mine on your coach. Until he shows just a little bit of concern regarding defense you will not have to worry about him moving on. Giving up that many points in the P5 means a short tenure.

Once you get past the words Bahama Bowl...there is not much positive about going to it. Money loser for travel, etc. I was hoping those arrogant pricks from Marshall would get stuck going there!

It's a step up? Yes. Is it big enough of a step up? I don't think so. UCF is a great job, but not a power 5. I can guarantee you Kiffin will not be taking the Miss State job. Mullen pretty much did as much as you can with that program. And no need to talk about Starksville. I don't see him leaving quite yet. Don't forget he's made a bunch of money already which means taking the job won't be the main concern, the main concern will be can he win and be successful at any new job. He can wait it out and as one of your posters said above Florida is not a bad place recruiting wise to wait for greener pastures.

Absolutely NOT. Just saying South Florida is an event town. UNT doesn't cut it for a regular season game that the general community had no idea that there were 2 undefeated division leaders facing off. It's not the SEC or ACC. You guys spend a lot of time worrying about attendance. I have never received any money from FAU to solve their problems. I give them money. If you go on a cruise do you go in the kitchen to help them make the meals? NO, I am the customer, someone else's problem. It's pretty interesting how some of you (certainly not all of you) infer a lot of meaning into statements that were not said.
