The PAC 2 wants to keep their Conference Brand alive, but they want to cherry pick the MWC. The MWC wants to join the PAC but they currently are holding the line at All or None. They have 2 years to get it settled but look for the PAC to remain in the future in some form.
Just feels like to me the end result is PAC merges with MWC, ACC left overs merge with AAC.

We don't look very good right now. Maybe a hangover from Memphis game.
Guys gotta be exhausted at this point. Been playing with basically 6 guys for nearly all conference play

I know he has some fans on this board, based on the downvotes any time you critique him, but if I see Stone minutes next year I might lose it.

I like a well lit arena where I can see all the stands though. UNT had minimal lighting a few years ago except for the lights shining on the court and it was not the best IMO. Felt like I was at a concert. haha
Oh agreed. I’m saying when they dim the lights for intros and play the video, just dim slightly more so the light show pops a bit better.

All this back and forth about how we do with/out Rubin. How do you think we’d be doing with a serviceable backup PG? You think we would be sitting with 3-4 more wins? Competing for a 1 or 2 seed? I suspect we’d be in a position for a T4 seed.
Imagine this team with Shahada Wells. Ended up at McNeese and averaging 17/5/5

No reason to bring him back until he’s ready. Regular season championship ship has sailed. I’d like a little ramp up before the tourney but only if he’s not rushed.

Can’t wait to create Mason Fine and get him the conference championship he deserved.

The next step is to have the game experience consistent no matter the opponent. Someone needs to pass the note to management that the “GMG Lights” would work better if the arena was darker.

Game would’ve hit 8k easily if we hadn’t been on a slide and Memphis was still ranked. The FAU game should get to 6,500+ I’d think

Give me a healthy squad for the tourney and let’s make some noise.

I have never seen a UNT team so afraid to shoot. It's as if no one wants the ball. Stone comes particularly to my mind, but I also saw some others give up looks when they were wide open.
Stone put up a mid range jumper when the shot clock was running down that looked smooth and comfortable. It didn’t go in but man why can’t you do that more often! If just to keep the defense honest. He’s always had a good lookin shot but has ZERO confidence in himself to make a play.

I saw they had some out there tonight. I emailed the department to ask how I would go about donating some. Are you saying they ordered branded ones?
Yeah, they’ve ordered the real deal court mops. The swiffer wet jets are temporary.

we have floor mops!
Actual court mops have been ordered btw. Really annoying it took a player getting injured to do so.

AScott’s offensive regression has been tough to watch. Luckily his defense is so incredible he’s still a positive on the court.

I’m not saying I disagree but guys have to get experience to learn. Tylor and Hamlet both just almost felt immediately automatic. Sometimes it takes some L’s to get it straight. He’s a brave player and we need that kind of leadership. I will say though. Aaron Scott seems to be to be just the most experienced and solid shot maker other than Rubin that we have and I’d love to see him get more opportunities it’s just that Edwards is a ball handler and so quick so it’s just gonna make more sense for it to be him to be the leader that we have gotten used to in the type of guys we’ve had. And I know that he can handle it. This is just a tough league and we can do better but we have solid guys and need to get healthier and we need to mature a little.
Oh I definitely agree with that. Take the lumps now and grow for the tournament. I’d much rather have Edwards on my team than go against him. If Rubin continues to miss games, I could see him get a 40+ burger at some point if his shot is hitting.

2nd half ref show. How predictable.

My favorite part of UNT basketball is the second half fouls calls simply for being more aggressive on defense.
